The point is if you want to stop spending then what you need to do is to stop authorizing spending. That's a perfectly reasonable argument to make. What's not reasonable is to decide that you don't want to pay for something you already bought. That's what's happening with the debt ceiling manufactured crisis. Authorizing a debt ceiling increase does not authorize any new spending, it in fact allows you to pay the debts *already* authorized. It would be like

This is just my opinion as I have no real basis to make this determination, but I don't think the power of your PC makes a whole heck of a lot of difference in how well or how difficult the AI plays. There is a switch in the game options to use max CPU as well as if you're customizing opponents there are a couple of switches one of which relates to CPU utilzation, but while these settings may indeed make for a more difficult opponent I don't think it will make any differen

This just started happening. It only happens on my old PC that's running XP Home and only while running IE8. FF is Ok on my old machine and IE8 is OK on my newer PC (which is running XP Pro 32bit). I keep both machines updated and this has only been happinging for a couple of weeks. Prior to this I had no issue even on the old machine running IE8. It's really not a big deal since I just ignore the message and click through to the website with no ill effe
My reason is simply historical. If I had my druthers we'd still be running Windows for Workgroups 3.11. As far as I'm concerned everything since then has been pretty much downhill. If you understood autoexec.bat, config.sys, win.ini and system.ini you pretty much knew everything there was know about your PC. I pretty much knew every single file, what it did and why I needed it. A picture is worth a thousand words so perhaps this will help. The only problem I'm having is being able to always and reliably see my two PC's and the Printer under the "Workgroup" path. As I've said I have no issues with either PC accesing the internet or in printing to or scanninbg from. Thanks for the responses. First off the specific router is a Dynex DX-E402, the datasheet is available here . Good luck getting much detail out of it as it really only lists the Advanced menus without describing any of them in detail and virtually all of what we're talking about here is handled under the "Advanced menus"

Auslogic's Registry Cleaner is always free and beats the heck out of CCleaner. Also their Disk Cleanup is great, particularly if you want to get rid of all those Windows update rollback directories (as if you'd ever uninstall a critical update). Both the Disk Cleaner and Regisrty Cleaners are about the best in the business, both agressive yet completely safe. They also have a decent Regisrty defragger if you really feel the need to gain a percent or two
