The only thing I want (and am sure all other wide screen monitor users also want) is for the videos to be scaled correctly. This includes the start-up video, the animated diplomacy picture and anything else you know you have a video for, e.g. tutorials. Thanks for continuing the support!

(only posting twice cot it won't let me edit) I meant to say un-innovative. Edit: It decided it would let me edit my second post so I thought I would, weird that!

There new "freedom like" business model seems better than what they used to have. EA spots continues to be as innovative as ever.

It needs video scaling. I wish I had said it before so it could have been implemented when the whole team was working on it. Without scaling all videos become stretched when on a wide-screen monitor. This includes both movies and race animations. Please sign this thread with a "/signed" to show your support and so all people with wide-screen monitors need not suffer. :SNIFF!:

China is almost a certainty. America will remain a super power untill a worse economic crush causes a revolution (tis what me thinks). And India is also becoming more powerfull, although it's comming under the rader due to the press talking mostly about china. England is too small and unless we reform the British Empire again (he he he) then all we will be is the little guy wispering into the ears of, to be frank, the bully that is america. I hope we become a bigger part of eur

It comes up with this: EventType : clr20r3 P1 : impulse.exe P2 : 1.0.0.0 P3 : 48177271 P4 : system.windows.forms P5 : 2.0.0.0 P6 : 471ebf68 P7 : 151b P8 : 12f P9 : system.objectdisposedexception The first time it broke impulse, I would get the process but it did

I say wait for the reviews before you put it down. Or at least the Beta. Anyway I just want to say that to get my last post out, because of the weard forum system I was unable to just edit the post so I posted two. If there are any problems then if a moderator could merge them it would be super awsome and such.
I think later this Summer when new PCs start shipping with our software included they'll see that we're not part of the problem but part of the solution. Let me put it this way, the PC OEMs have gotten the message about "craplets". They came to us to solve the problem, not exacerbate it. You'll see what I mean soon.
Hmm, so basicly they will take an "here's what we offer, download it if you wish" kind of deal useing stardock as the medium in which to do this?

I don't think he was saying you should give up due to companies like steam (steam is definitely the best example btw), but that you could offer them use of yours or work out a deal as the more games you posses the more likely people will want to download and for the developers to be in your aplication. So far you have three companies useing it, the faster you expand and show you have a superior product to steam (at the moment I'd say it's close with impulse, to improve you need to get t

My reasoning scientificly to why there is no god to clarify my last post for SetarcosNous: "A lack of a non-proof is not proof." Mathamaticly speaking it is like saying: Even though [X does not = 2], it does not mean [X is actually = 1]. And I have yet to see an argument to why one should choose a religion over another other than reprocutions in the unprovable after-life. Even if people say a God or even multiple Gods will do bad things/smite you while your alive, It have never

Religion is speculation, evolution is proven. Religious people say there are gaps in evolution... well if I joined up 3 fossils that would be 2 gaps, five fossils makes 4 gaps an astounding link of say 50 would have an apparently massively disproving 49 gaps! So you can see how that argument is rubbish. Some more proof that even lizards can evolve in a lifetime is [link="http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/04/080421-lizard-evolution.html"]here[/link]. This is the faste

I see a future merger going to happen here. Not yet, but maybe after ironclad have released their next sucsessful game.

I hope your wrong about the direction it's going. From the other side of the fence I see people picking products with less DRM because it causes less of a hassle. And you under-estimate the pirate's skills, once a protection has been hacked once it'll be hacked on all other systems using the same DRM. The way you get extra support from stardock from buying the game made me buy it. I see it as the way things should be moving forward but aren’t. Make the idea "free to use by any

Calm down. Just so you know your starting to sound agresive. I know it can be annoying when you loose something but if you get (or seem to get) angry people will be much less likely to help out.

(It's out now so:) I may as well point out that I don't know any other RTS with diplomacy. Frankly the implimentation is the only thing about the game I'm disapointed with, remedy? Simply play with locked teams! If anyone is thinking if they should get it or not, the awnser is a resounding yes yes yes!!!

I have 0.96a004 installed but it won't let me install 0.96a006.... You think they've updated it? There certainly was an update for the first game (the origional) and that downloaded fine.
