There are worse things about this game that would take less time to improve than moveing fleets. Thus although a nice idea, it'll never happen till sins 2 or maybe the third expansion pack? Also if your reasons are realism, the fighters and bombers will be able to accelerate and change direction faster due to them having less mass than the bigger ships. Making it less effective to try to manuver the large ships when the energy could be used for wepons/shields.

They did say they would release a now one in a week? perhaps tommorow?
No, as far as games are concerned in general, galactic civilisations has no coppy protection other then them only giving patches to people who have registerd. And as you need the internet for any patch I don't see it as coppy protection. And yes. THANKS STARDOCK
I personaly the implamentation of the sub-races is an atrocity. You may have graounds to back up the fact you can't please everyone. But may I suggest one thing? Make a poll to deside.
They could always out in the contract that they should have to keep the stardock server active and to always have a working stardock with the latest operating system.
or use the mouse wheel
Not what I was hopeing for honestly, however I know the little things take more time then they should and there is only a little left to do before the release so thanks for the update. Also, is the AI only updated for the three things you mentioned there or is there more? I just want to say the games already at a stage where I can hapily play for a few hours each day and have lots of fun. It's definitely the best version of galactic civilisations.

1. read second post 2. changelog? (I always love reading this)
Oh I was useing the US-2 server. (puts shoe on head) (it won't let me edit the last post -> no permission?)
No it's not. :P
This is a singleplayer only game and will remain so.
I'm amazed, they usualy are so fast to respond to things like this. Yet after 60 replys and they still havn't given a statement themselves. I dunno what to say, just whanted to give my observation.
They are probably close to a cultural victory or have a high economy, do the message. Then it probably takes whatever tech they are reaserching and tells you. Not a bug, but it could still be fixed never the less.
I'd like to hear the official reason for them not wanting it torrented. Seems strange to me.
Or maybe the world is wrong and they are right? They are from the future after all.
Don't forget to actually look at the minimum specs.
And this post needs to be moved into the journal section of the site. *ANGRY SNAIL

It's just before the "Teh" tech which destroys the English language across the galaxy.
Customization in a multilayer RTS is tricky. How would you do it without causing confusion in the large battles Sins is going to bring?
Looking forward to 4c then. I'm not bothered about the AI as it can kick my arse as it is. I just feel some of the technologys are not quite how they should be. Nothing in particular, it's always been like this in the Betas though. Question, when will you complete the rest of the high rez icons?
I say "only" in a comparative sense. But if you build your computer from scratch, it can cost as little as £600 to get a very reasonable gaming PC, or £400 for a reasonable midrange PC or £300 if you just want it to play the latest games with a few settings on. I'd go to a hardware forum if you are going to take this path and have little experiance though. Oh, the most important thing it to have a good graphics card. Second is a cheep set of 2X1GB of RAM. Third is the proce
I wants I woves I wishes I wonders I wants sins, I wants twilight. I've woves the beta of twilight. I wishes the beta was still available for sins, tis the reason I haven't pre-ordered it. I wonders which will be the better game though... A poem by Charles Davies
It's been a week since the last update. Could you clarify whats going to happen as far as the beta releases go?
