The large, circular room was dark, the only light source being the hologram projector in the center, giving off a soft blue light. Suddenly, it came to life, displaying the logo of the United Planets--a cluster of white stars inside a blue circle, caressed by golden olive branches. The lights slowly came on, and Empress Sa'ria, leader of the Assryian Sisterhood, spoke into her microphone. "Greetings, fellow delegates. As we know all to well, the criminal element..." Sa'ria batted an accusing eye
General Homsar
This is what confused me: " The Korx unrolled a parchment from under his cloak and began to read, the repulsors in his cloak forming the black cloth into a pair of demonic wings that seemed to flutter in the breeze from the room's air conditioning." Care to elaborate?
And the list keeps growing...
i was just trying to show that just becouse the united states or the federation of earth or whoever start to colonize the solar system that the problems at home won't just disappear. You make a very good point here, so I made a quick change to my prolouge. Namely, the minor nattions occasionally had skirmishes, but the superpowers usually came in and stopped things.
Thanks, I won't change. BTW, I think it would be REALLy funny if Homsar was in the next TM game. (What is your wish? AaAaAaAa! Kamikazi Fajitas!)
My longest game was 30 years got a tech victory.
In a recent game, my opponent declared war on me, and in a few turns, (i was on a Duel map.) thier ships are everywhere, but almost no transports. I send a fleet of frigates to scout thier homeworld for asn invasion, and i find that there are NO SHIPS gurading it. I invade the planet and soon discover that it was thier economic, manufacturing, AND cultural hub, so they ask for peace, and I accept. A few clicks later, I win a cultural victory. In short, they left thier homeworld unguard
news flash today there were protests at the jail where mr montgommery is being held. the protesters claiming that mr. montgommery was being used as a fall guy for the government. mrs. montgommery couldn't be reached for comment Heh, yeah, but they would get REALLY mad if he went to a Thalan prison....
Thanks for the encouragement! Or maybe a pilot's diary. I could expand on the Omega Guard featured in my latest AAR. Who knows?
*breaking news* This a CNN News Report. Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that the pirates responsble for the crash of the Thalan yachts in '27 have been captured or killed, and how they aquired the ships has also been dicovered. Apparently, a Grumman Engineering executive by the name of Silar Montgommery covertly sold small numbers of F-10s to pirates on the condition that they would guve him a cut of thier profit. When Federation and Thalan authorities confimed that Montg
wait ithinnk i hear something i think its something crashing ...aw no wait its my jaw dropping great story I second that. BTW, I am seriously considering writing something like this-but mat the diary of a prisoner-of-war rather than a soldier.
Bookmarked (this work week is looking up ) Shhh! I'm trying to watch the movie!
Any updates formis? It's gotten quiet areound here... Maybe he's making them right now. Sadly, I can't even pull up the mods library for some reason, My screen just says "Service Unavaliable."
But the only ones worth reading are this one and "Comprehensive(?) Carrier Proposal."
Owch! My brain hurts!
Two words: TWISTED METAL!!!! I've always been a fan of these games, and would love to see a new ame from the folks at Incognito Entertainment. (Also, I'm debating weather or not to change my screenname to a TM car.)
There are three penguins in a bathtub. This is not a sexual joke. The first penguin says to the second one, "Hey, man, pass the soap." The second penguin says to the third one, "Hey, man, pass the soap." The third penguin spins a pinwheel and says, "No soap, RADIO!" XD Huh?
What do you call a black man flying a plane? . . . a PILOT, you RACIST!!! (Sings "We Shall Overcome.") THAT will knock people for a loop!
Ok, I just have one question. Is there really an interdiction field generator? If so, where is it on the tech tree? And what does it do? (I'm assuming decrease spped of enemy ships.) No, the "slow-down-enemy-ships" effect is part of the Yor super ability, it happens automaticlly.
Nothing like a little time travel! (That's MY understanding of it, any way.)
Relations with the Thalans went south in January 2228, when they demanded a tribute from the Federation, which, of course, refused. As if on cue, Grumman Engineering and Heinkel each unvieled a new fighter: the F-10B and He-621, respectively. The F-10B was nearly identical in appearance to the standard F-10, but equipped with new third generation lasers and titainum armor to defend agaist Thalan mass-drivers. The 621 was a heavy fighter with a larger hull and more emphasys on attack. Even as t
Here's some one-liners for you: I'm in the hospital, recovering from a car accident...which is funny because I don't own a car. I heard that ciggarettes can cause colon cancer. Umm...i don't smoke, but I did, I'd kinda be careful to put them in my mouth!
Sneaking in and smashing the enemy homeworld is always good You know it! And it's all the more satisfying when it nets you thier economic and cultural hub.
HAHAHA! That's really funny! Here's a rather long one: A guy is driving down the highway, when he sees a rabit in the road and swerves to avoid hiiting it. SPLAT! the guy stops his car, ansd runs over to the rabit. He's an animal lover, (no, not like that.) so he's crying his eyes out. A blonde girl driving in her car sees hm crying on the side of the road, stops her car, and asks him what wrong. Still crying, he spurts, "I killed a rabit!" The blonde thinks for a few seconds, goes back
May he did, maybe he didn't. We'll find out when/if he updates. Simple as that. Super Diplomat. When you suck at warmongering, accept no substitutes.
