WTF guys? Instead of all of this bitching back and forth why not be constructive in this argument and tilt it towards what was quoted from Iztok... being more vocal about A LOT of things. There are a dozen (at least) issues with this game, from the truly mundane to the game breaking... they should ALL be addressed. I've read little bits and pieces of other posts which basically state that 'some' of the problems in GCI crossed over into GCII. Now there was some 'minor talk' about GCIII already..

Yes Kryo, I did a total uninstall/reinstall of both SDC AND AOL. Seems that AOL had some 'funkiness' with some of the auto updates their software does. Did I ever tell you that I am REALLY starting to hate technology? But thanks again kind sir... as always GREATLY APPRECIATED!

SDC having issues? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Good morning all. Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere but I didn't see anything relating to SDC having 'issues' so here goes... I tried logging on to SDC yesterday in order to get the latest build for DA. Log on went fine and there was some sort of new update that SDC went through for a few minutes before telling me that SDC needed to restart for some of the changes to take effect. I did this of course and then whenever SDC tried to restart I began getting the error of failing to connec

My bad. You are right the Beta 3 #1 had the issues Beta 3 #2 and Beta 2 are good. Wait a minute now... could someone please inform me as to which beta is the newest and freshest one? I followed the link in Cari's post a few days ago and that is what I installed. What am I missing here? Where is the most recent build?

Another thought: after you have military dominance, additional AI production turns are probably a net benefit to you. Less need to build up newly conquered planets, etc. Maybe you could even do something like give a bunch of minor races the tech for Hyperion Shrinker, save and reload a bunch of times, now the Shrinkers are all complete, time to invade.
