My guess is that you would be part of a dying breed in the US- a true conservative, though I think Libertarianism would be a bit too far Right for your tastes. The Republican Party calls themselves "conservative" but for the main party platform that is social/moral conservatism at best, and most definitely not a political conservatism. Both major parties are very liberal when it comes to government control- the main point being which aspect of life do you want controlled? Th

ah yes, in the beginning of Episode II...there is some slight switching between 1st and 3rd person; I tried to catch most of it, but alas, I must have missed it at various points. Well, such is life I suppose, and thankfully it doesnt do serious injury to the story.
The New Cerulean Star System The Cerulea Star System centers around a main-sequence G2V-type (Sol-like) star that has 5 planets in its system, and a moderately-sized asteroid belt on its outskirts. Four of the planets are rocky worlds, with three of those being capable of supporting life, the other unhabitable due to a runaway greenhouse effect. The fifth planet is a gas giant. The gas giant, Azuras, is by far

Episode Three: A New Beginning The forward saucer-shaped hull of the newly-christened 'Cerulean One' glided gracefully past the bright large cloud-enshrouded world that briefly eclipsed the shining indigo-green marble ahead of them. "Captain, the Class Twelve world is directly ahead sir." "Bring it on screen." and Captain Morave turned to face me. "Ma
@hellificare: can you post your debug.err? it'll be easier for the Devs to see what happened in your case. You are attempting to use the Beta though right? Otherwise, post the problem elsewhere. All this being said, since it IS a Beta, there is no guarantee that it will work, it may just end up being imcompatible at the moment.
Episode Two: Aftermath "Close that valve off! Get those fire crews over here! And get the injured down to the medical bay!" shouted Captain Morave as he ran across his bridge to where the Vice President had collapsed. "Madam Vice President, can you hear me? Are you alright?" he said as he checked her for serious injury. Stirring slightly, Jacquelyn Hamilton, Vice Pres

what size galaxy? in a tiny/small/medium galaxy: go for a fast conquest (Planetary Invasion) and take the AI homeworlds; the added influence and capability will definitely help on such a map.
Check out "Cerulean Sky- Redux" now posted in the AAR forum [e digicons][/e]

By a strange twist of fate and luck, I just happened to come across a Thread Necromancer the other day, and he offered me to revive one thread. Well of course, I knew exactly which one that I wanted-but not in the way y'all are thinking. I am currently revising and rewriting the previous chapters which I hope to post in a NEW AAR thread in the next few days, and then I will continue with the story in the next few weeks. I really liked this story
hmmm...while I do think my morale bonuses do seem lower (i really should be testing with facts and figures- ive just been more concerned with the raw ability to play the game so far) i'm not having the econ issues you seem to be experiencing, nor does the majority of the AI in my game. ok: Tested at Tough Difficulty across the board Dread Lords- Altarians- Class 12 Morale 30, Econ 10 Income 29, Spending 6, Maintenance 1 App
it changes a little bit depending on which game version you are using (DL/DA vs TA) but generally speaking, Life Support is found in a Branch-off of the Logistics techs. So you know though, you can create your very own survey ships once you have researched "Sensors" without the needed Survey Ship techs. For example, I'll take a blank cargo hull, add some Impulse III engines, a Sensor Module, and then Basic Support and it'll be the pants off my Fla
I know that Dystopic has taken the time in some games to redirect asteroid output toward one planet..and well, since there can be a LOT of asteroids in a game, I mean thats a lot of "free" production coming in. Time consuming? yes.
@Ragnar: I'm actually opposed to Libertarians because they believe in extremely limited government power- they are Jeffersonian Democratic-Republicans; I don't mind gov't power as long as its being used judiciously and intelligently. @Dystopic: no, something I should look into maybe? @Loup: woot, we're almost the same age (i'm just a bit younger). I'd love for someone actually qualified for the job (not these careerists and
in truth, i'd probably catergorize myself closest to a Hamiltonian ideology (he's not my avatar for nothing) which does share some values with the Republican thought; but there are some key differences. The power of judicial review was enshrined by the Federalists (vs the Republican strict reading), belief and support of individual liberty (civil rights), and a sound fiscal policy (which both parties lack); so I suppose one could say I am a Social Liberal but Fiscal Conservative- broad
ah, so a Republican; would have never have guessed that [e digicons];P[/e] while mine would be, in true Democrat form: Vote for me, so I can create a government agency that you won't be able to live without that spends all your money to give you a service that you would have gotten for cheaper or free before.
haha, awesome KP! but i dont know...i figure our views on the proper ways to manage the conquered would be opposed [e digicons]^_^[/e]
congratulations to the Kzinti Empire for achieving over 2000 replies in this thread. The Kzinti may have their naysayers, but they are definitely an active force on the forums, and the Metaverse- obviously, this must be attributed to the charisma and dedication of its leader KP. Glad to be meeting against you in glorious battle as always -Silver-
Kryo I believe just added the alt-meta to read Immense games a week or so ago. I think they are currently going under the Universal All category. EDIT: Yes, I just searched for "Vesuvius" on the A/M and your Immense Research on Maso that you submitted on Oct 2nd is listed under the Universal All menu 2nd Edit: Tiny, Small, and Medium go under Solar Large, Huge go under Galactic
I know I've played some MV games where I've "maxed" out the AI races abilities; Generally speaking, I just max out the inherent abilities (so for the Altarians, points go to Econ, Research, and Morale) though I find the Altarians the most "worthy" of the PQ bonus. I make them Pacifists. Yor are Industrialists as are Thalans. In both they get maxed out production points. Iconians are Technologists. Research ability, and I
