Now I'm not a founder so not very invested, nor do I really care about the game, I've had fun up to date so had my money's worth and so on so I'm not going to go do silly things like leave negative reviews on Steam, heck I'm much more likely to leave a positive one tbh, and might buy the expandalone anyway if nothing else takes my fancy before it comes out as i could see enjoying another hundred hours, so at the en

What is your issue? Maybe the community can assist with you or confirm that they have acknowledged the issue? Thanks.

Going into my current battle against the AI, showed Victory Very Likely. Watching the battle in viewer, shows my ships didn't do well, in fact I lost all three of my medium hull ships and they had surviving 3 small ships and one transport. After finishing the battle and going back to the game screen, I won, having 2 remaining medium hulled ships left and the AI nothing. I noticed this prior to this when I killed 1 of their ships but, I lost it showed I killed no
Seilore, Gaurd keeps the fleet/ship there without having it ping back. It does nothing other than keep the ship there, Sentry does the same thing except if any faction cruises into view the 'sentried' fleet will pull you back for an action before letting the turn end. Does that make sense?
Yes, I just missed it, I was thinking of a different post completely and got them cros
I started a game 1.7 Opt-in 2, saved the game right away and had to leave as I liked my starting position, however, upon returning to the game, I lost my free race specific trait research points. Why?? Thanks
Guard: We added it in the latest opt-in last week. You sometimes need to restart steam for opt-ins to update correctly. If its still a problem, then please let me know.
Don't know what "Guard" is referring to, maybe I have missed something... I think you're referring to the save game bug, which you had stated that 1.7 - 2 you had a fix for, than several of us pointed out was still sticking
Hi, Yes, a save game would be helpful. Thanks https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit
This is happening in every game I've started so far in 1.7 - 2 so I think it would be fairly easy to reproduce, however, I'll create an official ticket later today :)
In this game the star base shows the Archeology Lab available but, there are no relics anywhere near this star base? when hovering over the lab it says all have been claimed by another player which is incorrect as well.
I haven't seen it in my last few games but, it's a random pull of 36 of a possible 72 mercs available I believe. So I think it's still there.
It would aggravate the cheesiness of Tech Brokering, though. The buy low, sell high, principle would make large population galaxies a Diplomacy free for all.
In my suggestion, one would not really be buying low and selling high as in the game everything will naturally continue to increase in value but, never decrease, except for if a faction is being conquered then trading anything to them may be view
1. Shipyard defenses. Shipyards are easy to replace if destroyed, but it'd be nice to be able to build better defenses and weapons for them (with constructors) to avoid the annoyance of guarding or rebuilding them. Or perhaps they could be attached to an economic starbase on a neighboring tile, so that enemy ships would have to destroy the starbase to attack the shipyard (or destroying the starbase could also destroy the attached shipyard).
This was talk
This is what I've been thinking about with all the ease of exploiting the AI when it comes to diplomacy. Why is the AI so easy to exploit? Here is what I would change... First off lets say Custom Faction A has a high priority on Research and a low priority on Culture, with everything else in between.... I would make it so that this AI is going to pay more in either credits or other items for anything that will help them accomplish their goal to obtain research
The team is looking at several performance problems next week including the slow building placement on the save game that you provided.
awesome pshaw is awesome no matter what anyone else says.
There are many issues with diplomacy, however, I think the basis is sound and it can be improved. Things I still don't get... Open Borders? It's been stated time and time again that Area of Influence differs from actual borders. So if this is true why don't we get a borders map. Shared Borders Penalty? Same question as the above. Why is -10 relations reflecting "At War" status in diplomacy even though one isn't at war with said faction
see post made in the 1.7 patch notes... https://forums.galciv3.com/476400/page/2/#3630323 However, in my current game just completed turn with auto save enabled and it's still sticking on the screen. Also with the extra build ques there is starting to be a very easily noticed lag when adding/removing buildings/ships from build ques on extreme game settings. Not much is being acknowledged w
(opt-in #2) Fixed cases where "saving game…" message was stuck on the screen
This is still happening on the latest build, sorry :( Also still getting a lot of lag with build que's adding/removing buildings on planets changing ques on star bases, changing ques on ship yards on large games... This has gotten very easy to notice in 1.7 since the addition of the extra build ques. There hasn't been much talk about it and, I hope
I play insane I normally max out at about 14.5 gb with win 10 running... It usually though throttles down as the game runs to around 10-12 gb this is with 86 AI as well.
8. If I have a fleet in a hex and move another ship into the fleet (within the logistics capacity of the fleet), about 80% of the time the fleet "wakes up", losing its Sentry or Guard command. I'd like it to not do that!
This is a bug and according to the updated patch 1.7 opt-in notes has been corrected.
7. How many votes do the minor races get in the UP? - The screen only shows the majors!
I would
My game also crashes if I enter a designer with nightmare torpedoes researched. Something is wrong with them.
hmmm... haven't seen that maybe submit a crash report so Stardock can see what's causing it.
With that said, can someone tell me where in the XML I can go and change it back to how it was before.
They completely changed they system on how it works. I don't think you can change it back.
I don't know if it's a Galciv III thing or an AMD Raptur (PlaysTV) thing, however, Windows 10 Galactic Civilizations III crashes with PlaysTV is trying to record as soon as it tries to record even with the new Galactic Civilizations III feature enabled. Windows 7 this works fine. I opened a bug report with PlaysTV too...
Quoting , quoting post Why do I, as a Founder, have a button on my main menu that invites me to "Get More DLC"? Isn't that a null action? If I had paid separately for all said DLC, I would be even more annoyed. "Hey, I paid already. Nag somebody else!" Please put in a chec
Second, if I get two said cards, does Gal Civ III support 4K or higher resolutions and play well if given the hardware to support it?
If I remember correctly it does support 4K but, that's been a while since talked about.
I had 2: Preview 1.7 and vip_build. What is the vip_build and which one of these should I be playing?
According to Stardock a while back the vip_build shouldn't be there but, is. It's an error of some sort and I believe is the 1.6 beta if I remember correctly.
