Is it possible to make some "repeating techs" that can be researched over and over again? Every time when a repeating tech is researched, it provides some bonus on economy or military...... So that my empire can still make technological progress even in very late game.
It's been suggested many times, unfortunately at this time there hasn't been much of a conversation from Stardock on this feature. Personally I love the idea.
Removing bonus stacking would reduce the number of economic bases.
This would be a huge downfall. What I'd like to see more is bringing back the fees to build star bases. This also could add additional technologies to be able to reduce the cost of star base construction. I liked the Galactic Civilizations II way, where the first one was free, than next one cost a little, and next a little more, ect
So playing my current multiplayer game, with 88 factions and limited planets there is a great need for events that provide Ideology points. Unfortunately Multiplayer is excluded from mega events so no extra Ideology events. Therefore one only gets points by colonizing which we've only been able to colonize a couple planets. Needless to say, in this game setup Ideology is a mute point and a wasted feature in the game. Please think about adding these events to Mult
I think the idea of having an influence threshold the AI looks at before colonizing is good, this is really an edge case since most colonizing is done early on, but if you do not colonize mars, i can see how this would happen.
This became a huge issue in my current game with the special even that spawned random class 25 planets all over the map. AI was colonizing everywhere and most were culture flipped by the domi
That's too much math, :P Don't forget you get several mass reduction techs along the way that by researching any of those it unlocks the mass reduction on those parts.

They flipped it from me through culure.
We noticed there some unusual star names in your save file -- are you using any mods in that game?
Nope, never have, what ever star names I have are either from custom factions (home systems) or general stock. Mind you on a huge map with 88 AI almost every other system is from a custom faction.

In the most current build of the game, I just had a planet flipped a few turns ago, yet it still appears on my planet list of my planets. I am unable to remove it. see image below... Ticket # #LQW-979-83086 Also, saving and reloading game reset the values so the save game won't be much help...
Updated with a second lost planet in different system. Same game.
I have no issue with star bases, my only issue still with diplomacy exploits and other bugs...
Dear Stardock, Why does the AI value these agreements so much? According to the information on a free trade agreement, this provides a 25% boost to the economy and last for 50 turns. In my current game the vast majority of the AI is earning less than 100 per turn. Using that number a 25% boost is 25 credits, over 50 turns 1,250 credits. Now I know the economy will increase over 50 turns, however, why are they willing to pay in most cases twice that value for th
So which Race is the best?
The best faction in the game that doesn't judge you by the faction you are but, on the individual you've become. Personally of the core factions I prefer the Thalan, Altarians, or the Torians. However, I rarely play the core factions and tend to play a custom faction I developed.

Sorry it took so long for me to post the ticket on this, #RAC-944-10670 this is still happening on 1.7 patch 4.
In the new game I just started Kaupleja V is about 10 tiles away from it's parent star. This seems quite unusual. I have submitted ticket #RAC-944-10670 . Below is the screenshot. A second screen shot added... at the beginning, notice Latlynn II is 8 tiles away from it's parent star. One thing I noticed on this one is that the planet was fairly new, it wasn't there earlier in the game. <img src="https://i.imgsafe.org/c6ce49b.jpg"
bight
bite, sorry to be picky... As far as the diplomacy changes I like what I'm seeing, however, the AI still doesn't see multiple trade resources, example. I am trading 1000 credits for (1) snuggler colony. The AI will accept. I now am trading 1000 credits for (3) snuggler colonies. The AI will still accept. They see multiple as the same value yet.
Updated this post with additional ideas in blue. Please feel free to post your suggestions here too....
With the Diplomacy work being done, will the AI see the multiple trade resources trade (3) snuggler colonies as (3) and not (1)? I haven't seen this being mentioned in the improved diplomacy work as well as I've noticed they still don't care on the amount in which they are trading?
I've seen this problem but, only sometimes and usually it's rare and I haven't been focused enough on the issue to create a ticket on it. However, yes it does happen.
