Nice try, but not a bug. Demigod defines map control at 80% of the flags. When you have map control, you gain warscore at twice the normal rate.
I can only assume you misread my post... Combined with the camera death spin it's a total immersion braker as I have to stop look down at the keyboard (which I otherwise don't bother using very much) and find the camera controls on it.Not an ideal design decision. For me, the Q and E keys were extremely helpful for rotating the camera. However, if

If the limited edition includes an optional pre-ultima 5 style interface I will buy 4 copies. Not all for me but 4 sales is 4 sales. :-P
that list? Use the key "e" to rotate the camera.
Interesting to know but I'm not sure that much of an imrpovement over the space bar and it certainly doesn't let me bind rotation control to the middle mouse button like I'm used to from Every... Other... Game.
I had similar issues with cities becoming road blocks between mountain passes. With the inability to select exactly where garrisoned troops appear when leaving cities I basically became trapped in one tiny corner of the map until I demolished everything in the city. Note sure what the reasoning behind not being able to walk on city improvement tiles was, but it does not make for fun gameplay.
I'm having the same problem. Save the game reload and becomes apparent the problem is caused by pop up window that requires a response not appearing. For example, a faction declaring war on you, or the research complete window. On reloading the window appears, you can respond and continue.
How muhc money do I have to send the developers to have: "Camera: Disable (or add option to disable) camera spin on death." and "Camera: Add option to bind free camera to something other then the space bar" added to that list?
Had the same problem, along with some additional graphics anomalies like the the sovereign and units not displaying in portrait windows etc. that disabling advanced lighting fixed. As far as the cloth map not appearing is concerned I spent some time trying to narrow down which settings being disabled fixed it. It's weired, Advanced lighting needs to be turned off in game then both Smoothvision HD: anisotropic filtering & Smoothvision HD
As for the kill 10 of creature X it can be done if it's done sensibly. Rather then have some lunitic who because the cities sewers are overrun with rats, posted a bounty of 30gp for killing exactly 10 rats once... Have someone with more common sense offer a bounty that will have you paid 3gp for every rats tail you bring him (And don't make rats tails random drops, you kill rat you can cut off its tail, it shouldn't have a 1 in 5 chance of appearing in the rats backpa
Would we know at the beginning of the game what the random techs will be?
A tech you could research to allow you to predict what the up coming random techs will be would be a perfect solution for that. As for prerequisite techs not making sense. How about instead of having techs as a prerequisite, have resources or existing units as the prerequisite? I can't imagine
Had a quick search of the forums and I think I have another river bug to add to the list (If it was posted beofre I missed it). I took a screenshot of a river running into a lake to show a friend (I know it's a known issue) as seen here: The issue is a few turns later the river took on a completely different appearance. <
That is where I want to found my capital. It shall be known as the great crystal city of the mystic fields of plenty and the people shall rejoice at it's splendor.
Well towns start off as exceedingly small little farming communities in essence. If you have a farm in a new city it takes up half that cities available land and is likely the reason the little community started up there in the first place. So the farm been the life blood of the town would be the centralised landmark. It's not untill a city grows signifigantly that the concept of centralised land value would be worth conisdering... And by then the farms been in the center of town since time b
If i understood you correctly I would assume it starts at 0 and counts up to 5. So that would be the 6 numbers.

Is there any chance of being able to disable the camera angle resetting on death or being able to remap the camera function keys in the future? Is the rollover data error on flags under fog of war bug being looked at? Also is it just me or when playing a general do the select all minions, demigod and demigod and minions buttons not always respond on the first click? Is it possible to have a dynamic minion spawn rate that lowers the rate at which minions spawn from portals
This anoys the heck out of me to. The issue is compounded by the fact you can't remap any of the camera key functions, particuarly the free camera function. Having to use spacebar to readjust the camera every single time I die is one of my few remaining complaints about the game. Worse, unlike the other issues, I've seen nothing to suggest it will be addressed in the future.
I have a question. When will I be able to remap the free camera function to a mouse button? Having to use space bar to adjust the camera everytime I respawn is beyond anoying.
So it took a little getting into but I'm really enjoying demigod now. Only one cave eat... Is there any reason you cannot rebind the free camera key from spacebar to... well anything. I've got edge scrolling on and the ingenious zoom to mouse cursor feature, I realy don't need a click and drag function. What would be fantastic is been able to bind camera angle control to one of my 7 mouse buttons. Is there anyway to do it? Editing game.prefs file maybe?
Yes. I've only been loading twilight of Arnor since I got it. That's also the folder the ships are saved in. Incedently saved games form those folder show up fine. It's just the ships and custom races that are playing up. Thanks for the input. Update: Hard drive crashed a few days ago so I've had the pleasure of being forced to comeplete reinstall... Same problem. Game Intermitantly doesn't load preconfigured races, never loads custom ship designs and the option to make custom
Just bought twilight of arnor and installed galactic civ 2, dread lords and twilight from scratch. Started a metaverse game and shortly into it had a crash. This doesn't bother me so much as the fact as since then all my saved ship designs and custom races I made since installing arn't available any more. I checked the appropriate folder in mydocs and they are all still there, the game is just not recognising them anymore. I also noticed the metaverse game and tournement game options become g
