In DA, when you built it, and highlighted the square you built it on, the description would say Economics 100%. It does not say that in TA. It says nothing. Also, I was making about 6000bc/week before I built it. After I built it (lease bought) I remained at 6000bc/week.
I built the MCC while playing my 1st TA as the Krynn. It did not give me the expected 100% econ bonus. But I still take the planet flipping hit. So what is it good for now? Or is it just a Krynn thing?
The MCC doesn't do anything anymore. I'm playing my 1st TA game. I'm playing the Krynn. Got Ethics and chose evil. Got to Concepts of Malice and built the MCC. You no longer get the 100% economy bonus, but you still seem to take the hit on flipping planets. Is this just a Krynn thing?

Yes indeed. Welcome RC. Submitted a game on Tuesday night. My toughest ever. I played as the Korath vs. 9 cuz I was getting too comfortable playing the Krynn. I've been reading all the comments about the bonus round, etc. Whatever you guys want to do is fine with me. Seems to me there has been a definite drop in interest during the last round. Considering ToA is going to be released (29 Apr 2009 I believe), how do you feel this might affect things? Personally, I'm looking forward to playing a ToA metaverse game.

I think Starstriker is talking about 2005-2006. The Oilers were 1 game away from winning the cup, but lost to the Hurricanes.
