I have avast, and I can't figure out if it has an effect on Demigod or not Most likely it doesn't but can't hurt to test it out. I don't know how to shut it off. Eh, I doubt it would solve anything.

But we all know it's never going to work that way. If people can create profiles to allow others to log in under a master account, how would it be limited to people in the same household only? It would open up a secondary market where people would sell these secondary profiles to random people, with Stardock/GPG not seeing a

Oops, got off topic. I agree with adding an enhanced Coop mode of sorts, however, I believe that the symmentry of the levels is crucial to Demigods gameplay style, which is Arena-style battles rather than on a "random" landscape that is not symymetrical. More modes are always nice for sure, and Demigod definitely has the potential for some interesting and unqiue game play modes as Warcraft 3 did/does. Edit: CoOp would definitely work well with Demigod. How about an Epilogue-st

A mode I would love to see implemented, that I thought about recently and made a post about was a reverse Domination mode... which I tentatively call "Dreadful Domination".... in which the goal is to capture flags like regular Domination except.... instead of the flags bestowing bonuses to you and your teamates, it does the opposite... giving you debuffs, longer cooldowns, slower speeds, lower experience rate, etc... It would make for an immensely competive and brutal gameplay experie

Makes sense. I wonder if Stardock could implement this feature into impulse? It would really give it a leg up on Steam. It would

Would you and your fiancée buy the same book twice just to be able to read it one after another? I had the same problem with supreme commander, before we (my bro and me) bought a 2nd computer which could run it - we just shared the account though as we didn't care about stats. As much as I like that smurfing is impossible with the 1 account per key system I hate this bac

You are in fact two seperate persons who want to play the game seperately. Yeah the original UI is okay - however I think a team list should be added at least. This is currently made worse by the fact that targetting spells on other DG's can be pretty bad sometimes, so a party/team list w

Thanks for the heads up. So the update that was released on impulse was strictly for preparing for the proxy update, and the beta is the one that might help some users problems? I'm just trying to figure out if the new impulse update came with any other connection fixes besides preparing for proxies, or if the beta is what contains the fixes. Again, thank you for your time, patience, and hard work. Demigod really is a great game and deserves recognition not only of itself but of the c

I know that Square-Enix is gonna be publishing it for GPG, I also know that SupCom is indeed confirmed... should be freaking awesome. Although I'm worried if I'd have to upgrade my system to play it...

I'm already making some progress in figuring this out, the game has Notes everywhere on how and what to change in the files to create a mod. I hope GPG and Stardock implement something like this soon, if not, it HAS to be modded into the game. I just KNOW that this will pick up quite a storm on the multiplayer community if it pulls off. I've been thinking about a mode like this for Demigod since I started playing the game and noticed how, USUALLY once a team has reached a certain point in the

This is such a good idea, that im actually DISSAPOINTED in the game creators for not thinking of it. Like Samuriwarlord said, we are tired of just GAMES, we want PERFECT GAMES. I am wondering, if it is something to do with the CPU. I am not sure, and am only wondering... but eventhough NIC cards offload network/data/etc layer protocals off of the CPU, maybe there is something wrong on Demigods end that lets these packets keep getting sent and lost that is draining the NICs offloading capability, causing the CPU to have to kick in dealing with the extra workload? Only reason I brought this up is because some people are wondering why their PERFORMANCE is going

Know what? If Modding tools are released I will make this mod, or, if I can't figure how to, I'll get some one more skilled to pull it off. Shouldn't be too difficult to implement... as far as I know, a simple change in the config files of flags should do the trick. I'd have to snoop around the files to see if that is the case or not... even if it's out of my modding skill range, like I said, I'm sure someone could pull it off. Damnit man... it would be so hardcore... so damn brutal and requi

Just like Domination you have to capture flags to win. However, instead of the flags bestowing bonuses, perks, and buffs... they do the opposite. They hinder you... cause a universal slowed move speed, long cooldownds, less exp, slower health regen, etc etc ...whatever. Only way to win is to muscle through. I think this would be an extremely competive and brutal gameplay mode, deserving of either a mod or an update. Think about this for a second... this would be freaking brutal.

I would rather see say 12 Demigods and have their abilities and options expanded on so that they play much more differently than today. I hope they don't release too many Demigods. Too many is gonna cause nothing but balance issues, it is just not gonna work out.. I think twelve is a decent number of Demigods. When you start to factor in each item, each ability, each demigod, each build, etc... it ends up being too much to balance... like DotA which is asbolutely unbalanced. Gawd I hate that game and it's elitist minddead community. I think between 12-16 at max. You have to remember these aren't mortal little heroes l
