Debug.err is nice but not terribly useful. See https://forums.elementalgame.com/386178
Thanks Frogboy! :D Also just wanted to say that I got back from playing my game with AA disabled. It seemed to have helped, I was able to play the game for much
Relieved to see I'm not the only one. At least this means it's something we can work together on figuring out and putting forth to Stardock. I just started another game and it happened again. Took Approximately 10 mins then the game just completely shut off. It wasn't a hard crash, it just closes instantly and the desktop appears as if nothing happened. No Windows error message appears or anything. Very strange. Love the game though, can't wait fo
This problem seemed to have started to happen with arrival of the 804 beta update I think . Not sure when it started happening or for why, but the game will eventually just exit to desktop and close the game causing me to lose my progress. It has happened in-game, as well as during faction creation. It seems to happen after a set period of time. Usually within...20-30 mins approx. Could it be a memory leak of sorts? Or perhaps could be a program interfer
lol Thanks! Can't wait to feast myself on this epic game. :)
ALright thanks, again I appreciate the responses. One more question and its a fairly obvious one on my behalf: When is beta 2 forecasted to start? :D
Yeah, looking around that seems to be what the deal is. Thanks for the response though man, much appreciated. In this case I should just hold out til the next phase then, heh heh.
...... :(
Anyone able to answer?
Ordered a few mins ago actually. I was under the impression that a beta was available at the moment that was open to all preorder folks. Did I miss a deadline or something? Will I be able to partcipate in future Elemental betas at least? I've been in other game betas before and enjoy seeing a game evolve over time as features change and ago, I also enjoy the bug squashing aspect of beta playing, and I also fully understand that that is what betas are actually for. Also, I do in fact h
To be honest. I don't like either. Microsoft and google are both on the list of companies that WANT to invade your privacy and control your world. Google is known to save everything you search to be sold to various companies and organizations for a price, as well as giving all of your search information to the Government. And I'm pretty sure Microsoft would do the same. No thanks.
Hotseat would actually be a good idea. My gf and I play Civ4 together in hotseat whenever we get a chance. It's really not that bad. Although I wouldn't consider it an absolutely necessary feature, if you could add hotseat to Elemental that would be great! Since Elemental is old school, you mind as well have old school hotseat mode thrown in there. :)
This is so stupid.

Go buy a damn card or stop crying like a little girl that can't fit her Old Barbies into her New Barbie Dream House. Bottom line is this game relies on everyone running the game smoothly. If you are running a 5 year old (or older) computer everyone will lag THEN kick you or put you on their ban list. No one but you care
In most applications, the X4 9500 is going to be slower than the X2 7750 due to it's lower clock speed. Only in programs that were made to use 4 cores will the 9500 win. If it's between those two, I'd get the 7750 in a heart beat. That's probably a biased answer seeing as how I am typing this from a computer with a 7750 in it . However, if your budget allows it, there maybe some better options... Take a look at this:
No. This would take out some of the strategy in the game. Part of the strategy is to carefully choose your items and builds. Having full resale is just fucking stupid. You could basically just swap items and arties around with no consequence and with no strategy involved. Horrible idea.

It means you will rarely die beca
