Six of one, half a dozen of another... it's still Beta, for what it's worth. Expect changes/new things, and a bit of disinformation.

What is not working? Do you have the Theme downloaded into the MyColors program? All you should need to do is launch MyColors and register Think Green using the serial number, it should download and when finished, be available to apply the Theme.

Sorry, yes that is everything in the GalCivII world. As long as you also make a Stardock.net account and use Impulse, you will be able to update the game as new versions get released. You can create your Stardock.net account here: https://www.stardock.com/sdnet_login.asp This will be required to log into the Stardock server through Impulse. You will receive a confirmation e-mail that you need to reply to validate your account. You can download Impulse here: htt

You can also try going to Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor and open the Prefs.ini file in Notepad. Change DisplayWidth and DisplayHeight to whatever your screen resolution is set for, save the file, and then try again. If that doesn't work, set Fullscreen=0

The Keys you would look for, and delete in the System Registry (Start-> run, and type regedit); HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sins HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sinsentrench For Vista 64 bit; HKLM>SOFTWARE>Wow6432Node>Stardock>Drengin.net>sins HKLM>SOFTWARE>Wow6432Node>Stardock>Drengin.net>sinsentrench

Please unload/quit ObjectDock so that it is not running, and then go to Start > Run... (Start > Start Menu Search in Vista) and then copy this into the command line: for XP: %userprofile%\local settings\application data\stardock for Vista: %userprofile%\AppData\local\stardock\ It will open a file folder. Delete any ObjectDock or ObjectDock Plus folders. This should clear your issue.

As so logically put previously, Impulse is the download/update manager that you use to install and update all the applications that come with your Object Desktop subscription. Nowhere will you 'see' something called Object Desktop that you can install. All of the applications 'Are' Object Desktop.

This can sometimes be caused by extra 'security' apps, like SpyBot, AdAware and the like. Even some anti-virus applications can have their own 'spybot' functions, and Firewall settings. Check your system (SysTray) for any of these 'watcher' type programs and try to turn them off, then launch WB's and see if you can apply a skin.

To unhide a game/application please sign into Impulse and then click on the blue Stardock orb in the upper left corner. Place a check in the box that says 'Show hidden applications'. Next, go to the tab where your game/application is hidden. You will see the game/application look faded compared the the other icons. Right click on it and choose 'Un-hide application'.

Lanty, Checked your account, seems all 3 parts of GalCiv II are listed on the same account, along with a copy of Sins. If your having issue with e-mail, try this; Make sure that Impulse has the correct log in info; Click on the blue Stardock logo, and from the flyout menu choose 'Change Log-in...'. Make sure that Account Name shows 'E-MAIL HERE', and re-enter your Password, 'PASSWORD'.

You may need to manually remove the game folder, and delete 2 Registry Keys before you'll be able to re-install. Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire (or where ever you installed the game) and delete the main folder. Then launch the System Registry (Start-> run, and type regedit) Look for

You should manually remove the game folder, and delete 2 Registry Keys before you'll be able to re-install cleanly. Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire (or where ever you installed the game) and delete the main folder. Then launch the System Registry (Start-> run, and type regedit) Look for and delete the following Keys; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sins HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\

Thank you gofortheko, my path above was in relation to Sins, not GalCiv II. For GAlCiv II; Try going to Documents\My Games\GalCiv2 and open the Prefs.ini file in Notepad. Change DisplayWidth and DisplayHeight to whatever your screen resolution is set for, save the file, and then try again. If that doesn't work, set Fullscreen=0

Most times, simply disabling AVG won't do it Some anti-virus applications (and AVG is one) can have their own 'spybot' functions, and Firewall settings. these can continue to run in memory even if you hae 'disabled' AVG. It's better to go into the AVG preferences or configuration and look for these 'extra' security items and turn them off there.
