You should manually remove the game folder, and delete 2 Registry Keys before you'll be able to re-install. Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire (or where ever you installed the game) and delete the main folder. Then launch the System Registry (Start-> run, and type regedit) Look for and delete the following Keys; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sins HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sinsentr

Try this from within Impulse: -Click the blue Stardock logo in the upper left of the Impulse interface and select 'Preferences...' -Click on the 'Connection' section on the left. -Check or Uncheck the box that says 'Use Legacy download system (BITS)' -Close Impulse and relaunch it.

If you have changed your e-mail address by accessing your 'My account' data, just make sure that Impulse also has that e-mail address. Click on the blue SD logo, choose 'Change Login' and reenter your new e-mail in the 'Account Name' Field, reenter your PW and click 'Login'.

You can download Impulse here: http://storage.stardock.com/files/Impulse_setup_full.exe Once installed (use your e-mail & PW from you SD account) you click on the 'My Desktop' Tab and you'll see an icon for WB, highlight that icon and use the 'Install' or 'Update' button to the right.

Are you running the Trial version? Sometimes 'extra' security apps like Spybot, AdAware, etc. can cause the skin to revert to the 'Windows Classic' skin.

Noticed you have an Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family, if you look at the report you posted, it doesn't report any memory, or even give the driver date. You should look into this as many of these chipsets don't have the power, or WB could be placing to many demands of a weak video system. Rebooting once after install/uninstall is normal, continued reboots are not. Have you e-mailed us at [email protected]?

Archive files from Impulse are not transferable to another PC, so you wouldn't be able to Restore someone else's Archive files. If you e-mail support, we may have an earlier version we could supply you with.
