To fix the 'generic Icons' issue, first uninstall IconPackager, then go into the system Registry and search and delete the following Key (if found); HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\IconPackager If found, delete the IconPackager folder. Close System Registry, and re-install Icon Packager.

One more thing, about SDC and Games... you can still download any games listed on TotalGaming.net via SDC, in fact the current versions of GalCiv II (all three parts) are the same version as in Impulse. For now. So, new and old purchases of the game can still use SDC and install GalCiv II to the currect version. Future updates will not be published to SDC, but rather only on Impulse.

avenuePad, Impulse automatically registers your software, and so doesn't need to prompt you for the serial. Neat, huh?

Your issue is not with WindowBlinds, which doesn't 'suck' by the way. Your issue is that you can't seem to get on WinCustomize.com, which has had some slowness issues lately, but no one else has not been able to get the site up. Yes, some report the site is loading slow, but not crashing. Check your e-mail for a reply from Support.

Spyware does not play well with Stardock software. Since we're usually changing the systems GUI, Spy programs think we are a trojan or other attack. Dump Spyware, SpyBot, or any Spy Ad type 'watcher' apps.

Works fine in 1.90 build 537. You might have Build 538. Try uninstalling, and re-install via Impulse, but don't choose the Beta.

Check your system for any extra 'security' apps that may be running in the background. SpyBot, AdAware, Spyzilla, etc. can affect this. Kapersky and Norton 360 have also had issues with our software. Sometimes these apps think there is an attack going on, and prevent it from fully skinning.

BigDogBigFeet , I advise everyone to first Archive the version they have BEFORE applying any updates. That way if things go wrong, you can simply Restore that Archive. In Impulse, right-click on the app and choose 'Archive Application'.
