Tim, Most likely what happened is you may have used a different e-mail when you purchased Entrenchment than your original Stardock.net e-mail. This happens a lot with PayPal. Send us an e-mail, [email protected], and include the info you posted above, without the e-mail/serial number being removed. We can merge the two accounts, if that is what the issue is about. Bet it is.

Had you installed to a different folder than the default install? If Sins & Entrenchment are your only Stardock products, you could just delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock Key

Make sure you are entering your Stardock account data EXACTLY as it appears (Caps, lower case, etc.) And yes, your SDC data is the same as the Impulse data.

We are aware of this happening, and actually it is working as it should. First time you log in to the game, you use your Stardock Nickname. Now that Nickname gets entered as the 'player name' within the game. They had to do it this way because there is no 'edit' feature for your 'player name' (re:Nickname) yet... the plan is to have multiple 'player names' that you will choose before entering a game. Devs are working on this now.

You will need to manually remove the game folder, and run the fix below before you'll be able to re-install. Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire (or where ever you installed the game) and delete the main Sins folder. Once you do this, download the file below (follow the link in IE, as other browsers will simply display it as a text file): http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/sins_entrenchment_fix.reg Save the file to your Des

All you need do is launch Impulse, and after it has logged on, click on the My Games tab and you will see an Icon for GalCiv II EU, highlight that Icon and use the 'Install' button at the bottom right. If your having trouble with Impulse, by all means send us an e-mail to support.

Impulse could be having trouble connecting to our servers. This can be caused by extra 'security' apps, like SpyBot, AdAware and the like. Even some anti-virus applications can have their own 'spybot' functions, and Firewall settings. Check your system (SysTray) for any of these 'watcher' type programs and try to turn them off, then launch Impulse, and watch the bottom left of the window, when it is done connecting, you won't see any text there, and you should then be a

Impulse is the only way of updating Stardock games, and Impulse must have internet access. We are working on an Impulse process that would allow Archiving from an internet PC, and Restore to a non-internet PC, no time when this will be available yet.
