stormer97 most likely bought the Entrenchment under a different e-mail addy, and as such the twian will not meet. I advised to e-mail us at and we can check it out, and merge the accounts back into one, which will work.

Tim, Check your e-mail, your accounts have been merged.
stormer97, Yes, if the base game is listed on one e-mail and a different one is used to purchase Entrenchment. You need to e-mail us with the two e-mail addys and tell us which the account should use, we can merge them and everything will work.
IronClad did not include one with the last build, so we also do not have one. They are making a manual, but we do not have the release date, as yet.

Tim, Most likely what happened is you may have used a different e-mail when you purchased Entrenchment than your original Stardock.net e-mail. This happens a lot with PayPal. Send us an e-mail, , and include the info you posted above, without the e-mail/serial number being removed. We can merge the two accounts, if that is what the issue is about. Bet it is.
Civ III or GalCiv I?
Had you installed to a different folder than the default install? If Sins & Entrenchment are your only Stardock products, you could just delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock Key
True Impulse needs IE7, and frankly I never use IE. But we only require that it is installed, don't set it as your default browser and continue to use a good browser like FF.
If the Entrenchment expansion doesn't show up on the My Games tab, send us an e-mail
Make sure your entering your password in the same upper or lower case?
Make sure you are entering your Stardock account data EXACTLY as it appears (Caps, lower case, etc.) And yes, your SDC data is the same as the Impulse data.
We are aware of this happening, and actually it is working as it should. First time you log in to the game, you use your Stardock Nickname. Now that Nickname gets entered as the 'player name' within the game. They had to do it this way because there is no 'edit' feature for your 'player name' (re:Nickname) yet... the plan is to have multiple 'player names' that you will choose before entering a game. Devs are working on this now.
You will need to manually remove the game folder, and run the fix below before you'll be able to re-install. Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire (or where ever you installed the game) and delete the main Sins folder. Once you do this, download the file below (follow the link in IE, as other browsers will simply display it as a text file): http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/sins_entrenchment_fix.reg Save the file to your Des
When the time comes for a public Beta, you should be able to participate.
Try sending an e-mail to and include your dxdiag file (Start-> Run, type dxdiag).
All you need do is launch Impulse, and after it has logged on, click on the My Games tab and you will see an Icon for GalCiv II EU, highlight that Icon and use the 'Install' button at the bottom right. If your having trouble with Impulse, by all means send us an e-mail to support.
Looking into this, wasn't quite ready at the time EU was released.
Impulse could be having trouble connecting to our servers. This can be caused by extra 'security' apps, like SpyBot, AdAware and the like. Even some anti-virus applications can have their own 'spybot' functions, and Firewall settings. Check your system (SysTray) for any of these 'watcher' type programs and try to turn them off, then launch Impulse, and watch the bottom left of the window, when it is done connecting, you won't see any text there, and you should then be a
Sorry, no. The UE version installs as one game, although each of the three chapters are accessable within the game. You'd be better off just getting Twilight as a seperate purchase to add to your DL & DA games. You will be getting the same updates as UE, maybe even sooner than EU has them.
Impulse is the only way of updating Stardock games, and Impulse must have internet access. We are working on an Impulse process that would allow Archiving from an internet PC, and Restore to a non-internet PC, no time when this will be available yet.

If you have two e-mail accounts, your software could be 'disconnected' somewhat, you should send us an e-mail to and let us know what the two e-mails are, we can merge it all back into one account. Let us know which e-mail you wish to use.
And I take it a wincustomize subscription is NOT included in the price of Object Desktop Ultimate?
BUT... having an Object Desktop subscription gives you full download rights to content on WC, just make sure you are logging in with your SD Nick & Password.
I have just sent you an e-mail from my outlook acct, I pasted the replies that we have been sending you since august.
