Jan, As you can see, plico08 got 'hope', you can too. What most likely happened was your purchase used an e-mail is not the same as your Stardock account e-mail, we can easily merge the accounts back into one and all will work again. You'll need to e-mail us at [email protected] and let us know what the two e-mails are, and which you want to continue to use for your account.

You will need to manually remove the game folder, and run the fix below before you'll be able to re-install. Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire (or where ever you installed the game) and delete the main Sins folder. Once you do this, download the file below (follow the link in IE, as other browsers will simply display it as a text file): http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/sins_entrenchment_fix.reg Save the file to your Des

Everything about your Stardock account is centered around the e-mail address. If you purchase the expansion, and use a different e-mail than your SD account, it creates a 'new' account that is 'disconnected' from your original account. If this happens, e-mail us at [email protected] and we can merge the accounts back into one, under the e-mail that you direct us to use. This situation happens most often if one uses PayPal, or someones elase CC that may have an e-mail tied to it. &n

when registering you always use your Stardock.net account e-mail and the serial number. If you used PayPal, it may have a different e-mail addy, and then creates a new account. Kendo has the right suggestion, e-mail us and let us know what the e-mail addys are, we fix!

This issue may be the AMD Dual Core processor. There are quite a few people with them that have similar issues. The AMD update is found here; http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_13118,00.html Go to bottom of page and use the link that reads 'AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 V

Yes, I brought this issue to our Metaverse Dev as soon as we were made aware of it not logging in. Even though this Dev is backed up with all manner of projects, he is working on getting it back up, hopefully by today. don't quote me, I said 'hopefully'. And we do care. Nuff said.

Impulse is NOT DRM, it is only a browser to download/update any Stardock purchased games. Did you use Stardock Central in the past? Impulse is the same thing, but with many improvements. You can use Impulse to install/update, and then remove it from your PC, and guess what? The games will run fine, that is not the case with any DRM or StarForce processes.

First, make sure that Impulse has the correct log in info; Click on the blue Stardock logo, and from the flyout menu choose 'Change Log-in...'. Make sure that Account Name shows 'YOUR E-MAIL HERE', and re-enter your Password, 'YOUR PASSWORD'. Click 'Login', Impulse should refresh then click on the 'My Desktop' Tab and you should see all the applications. If this won't work for you, e-mail us at [email protected]

You may need to manually remove the game folder, and delete 2 Registry Keys before you'll be able to re-install. Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire (or where ever you installed the game) and delete the main folder. Then launch the System Registry (Start-> run, and type regedit) Look for and delete the following Keys; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sins HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\sin

You really shouldn't have to enter the Object Desktop serial number, as Impulse auto-registers it. I've answered your Support Ticket e-mail, as well.
