It reminds me of this comic who was complaining about how the USPS has commercials even though they don't have any competition (for normal everyday mail anyway). Still though, one must wonder why they'd waste money on a Superbowl ad no doubt!

I don't like Rush, but people who want him sent to jail for a victimless crime are rather petty. They might not like him, but I'm sure I don't like plenty of the people in jail who I believe shouldn't be there.
Right-click on My Computers on select Properties. Go to the Advanced tab and click on the Settings button in the Performance group. In that dialog, there is a box with a bunch of settings. Scroll down until you see "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" and uncheck it. That'll fix it for you. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinBr
There's actually doctors that prescribe vanilla? And I'm still going to one that gives me terrible tasting medication?
I think that's how the logons work. I don't think that part will be skinned as I never see them skinned anywhere, and if I use a dark skin with a grey background, it's grey where it should be white. I'm pretty sure that it's normal behavior that you have to work around.
A computing magazine with "adult" content? The Japanese are ahead of us once again! I really should start making some skins.
I pretty much do the same thing as everybody else, but now I have the folder "My Downloads" in My Documents with a shortcut on the desktop.
All I know is that if anything catastrophic happens to Earth, that I hope it happens after I'm dead. As for lack of cooperation in government, I don't think the diversity in government will ever destroy human civilization. At the most, it'd cause a nuclear winter.
I'd only invite people who are living, because dead people don't make good conversation because they're dead and all.
I've seen that and I actually have it on here. Yeah, Chaninja does make some great looking themes! And yeah, I mean the visual styles for MS' engine when I say other camp.
I'm in the mood for something different such as visual styles that people make for that other theme engine. Any recommendations? So far, the only one I've really tried out is the Reluna one, and that's great, but I'm sure that's not the only one.
I don't know why all you people are saying you HAVE TO PATCH YOUR KERNEL!!! I didn't patch my kernel, but I added the .exe file as a separate OS... if the boot I dled doesnt work, I simply restart and choose the original boot file to start, and fix the problem... Yup, that'll definitely protect from viruses and is also very convenient as well! I
I think it's mostly the fact that TGTSoft represents no real threat monetarily.
Sometimes I have that problem too. I had that twice actually, and I remember fixing it once by renaming the image so that it had no space and only alphanumeric characters in it. Try that. Also make sure it's a jpg or whatever else that is supported.
I do wonder why boot screens are so popular since they are rarely ever seen and look so ugly, but if Stardock can actually make them have higher resolutions and color, then maybe I'll restart a bit more.
Why segregate when you can have both? P.S. I like vanilla!
Really? Hmm... I wasn't planning to purchase PSP8, but since I'm impulsive, I think I might reconsider. Would you say it's worth the investment of 50 dollars?
Cool! That'll definitely work. Thanks!
I used to manually optimize the colors in images, but that's a long and tedious process. I've heard of batch converting, and although I can do it with IrfanView and PSP7, it does not do it well enough, since it changes the colors, including transparent pink. Is there a batch converter out there that anybody's using that can lower the color resolution on images and use an optimized octree palette? If so, can you tell me the name of it? <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=f
Not necessarily. That's where the Supreme Court comes in. They protect the minority from the majority. There haven't been any laws made against illegal immigrants, and not only can they not vote, and not only are they a minority, but there are plenty of people who dislike them. However, even they still have some basic human rights.
Well, Bush can't be entirely blamed for the economy, since it is normal for the economy to fluctuate. I also think that Bush is as much of a puppet of the Republicans as Gore is for the Democrats and (Insert Name Here) is for the (Insert Party Here). As for Tony Blair, I didn't realize that people actually respected him (not that I don't respect him, but I often hear how much of a tool he is).
I guess that explains why Davis and company want to give illegal aliens driver's licenses. Sometimes I do think that it might be of the US' interest to make it so that only those with property can vote, but perhaps it would be better just to have an intelligence test that people must pass before they can vote. I personally don't think anybody who can't read simple instructions should be able to vote, and hopefully, such a test would keep the terribly incompetent from voting. Besides, it
I voted no on the recall, but for Arnold Schwarznegger. Although this recall definitely embarassed California, it might definitely be what is necessary for California to recover. It definitely is time for some Republican reform. Let's hope that California doesn't continue deteriorating because I don't want to move!
I agree that Stardock often speaks highly of itself, but that's because it's a great company. However, the point of the article is that it costs money to run a site whether or not you're a business. The problem is that people who want free Internet, free downloads, and free everything do not understand that money has to come from somewhere to pay for such services. Otherwise, they will remain small and insignificent or grow beyond their capicity and die horrible deaths. There is a reason why
I use Mozilla Firebird, but I also use Internet Explorer for certain sites that work better there, which are usually MSN sites. However, I've impulsively subscribed to MSN 8 recently so I think I might be using that as well.
