One can only imagine the trauma CL had to endure sitting on those 2 scores. See, everyone thought my warning to the Kzinti about you guys was silly. Not so silly now, it would seem. Maybe the Overmind is set up differently. The TwP and Kzinti are both "open", but that one may be an "invite only" or something. @GW: Your empire is not "open". I have tried to join twice, and have gotten a message to the effect my application to join had to be approved by someone.

Odd, I have played BCMG, and am playing UCCE while I wait out the server repairs, and I have not run across a single bug in either. I have no idea why Derek Smart would want to waste his time coming here and participating in this thread. If Slurple were to start something like this on Derek's site, he would be toast in about 10 seconds.

We thought we might propose the possibility of more reasoned behavior, that's all. We ease off a bit in exchange for stardock giving us a reasonable explanation of the metaverse server failure. So far, the have not. Rather than pick apart the apparent flaws in the explanation we have received, I am more than willing to wait and give them a chance to provide more information. Point conceded on the MV. For me, however, there is a much larger issue in play now. Brad has been all over the demigod forum, as well he should, but has not taken the time to say one word to the GalCiv2 community. It wold only take 10 min for him to come over here and diffuse the growing resentment that has been building on our forums. The MV server has been offline since last week, so it is not your computer that is causing the issue. We are hopeful that the issues will get resolved today, but stardock has not given us much information to go on. Keep an eye on this thread: https://forums.galciv2.com/346548 We get occasional updates from Kryo there.
