Agreed! I am super happy to have the G19 KB now. With this game and Guild Wars 2, I finally feel like the keyboard was worth the purchase! I hope they are planning on expanding the display further. It would be awesome if they had the background image set as the item selected (could use the same still image that shows in game when you select something) and has the name, ship type, and other info about said selected item. That would work well for a quick tab romp through the fleet to qu

I've only just started playing this (mostly waiting for release before getting excited). I do have a suggestion to add. For lack of a better place to add this and not create a new post for a minor suggestion, I'll add it here. Please add the capability to manually invert Horizontal and Vertical cameras in options (similar to Sins of a Solar Empire). I'm finding horizontal moving the wrong way for my usage and I could see this becoming a big issue. Now if that
I have posted problems with OD 2.0 Plus in other threads. I'll post them here as well in hopes these issues finally get resolved. 1. The biggest issue I have right now is that OD appears to cause my explorer.exe to start using 20% and turning the whole windows UI into a sluggish crawl until restart. When I dont use OD, I have no problems. When I do use OD, I dont typically have problems until I've been running a game for a while (probably something coupled with full screen mod
I actually had a similar problem with E:WoM. The game would launch full screen, but the edges had the Object Dock and Taskbar "poke through" functionally, so my mouse was locked to the edge until I alt tabbed and went back in. Then everything seemed to refresh. It's odd to me that every other game/program I use works fine with Object Dock active, but Stardock's games (makers of Object Dock) always seem to have issues (this includes SoaSE, Elemental, Demigod, & gal civ 2 al
The game is running in full screen mode, but with the windows taskbar and my Object Dock docks framing the "full screen window". Basically my object docks are "edge reserved", my windows taskbar is at the top of the screen (remnant of old Mac days) which also reserves the edge of the screen. When I launch E:FE, the games full screen window is framed by the docks and taskbar, shifted down (bottom of the splash screen text is cut off). I've set the resolution manually and automatica
I'm finding that the game now has imprecise cursor. I have to aim at the top half of a square or above to target or move to a square. It is actually worse in combat as its not only imprecise, but also a bit jittery. It might be due to my resolution of 1920x1080. Anyway, just thought I'd post that here. One thing that still hasn't been fixed since the beginning (and it seems Demigod does the same) is when I load the game up, it goes to the main menu, but my hardware cursor
DG for free would be an interesting idea. It seemed to work for Steam when they put Portal for free last year. Brought alot of people to the system that hadn't origninally used it. It would also kickstart DG again as a game (assuming fewer connectivity issues). I haven't played DG since the month it released. For a while I really wanted to. Then I was waiting for a few friends to try it, but they were waiting for things to be fixed first. Eventually we all kind of forgot about
Yes, I want to be able to play it like I play Civ4 with my friends.
Alot of it depends on whether or not you're building the machine yourself. I just built a new gaming rig and only spent $800 on a machine that runs Crysis at very high, 4x AA, V-Sync, 1920x1080, at 45fps avg. Granted, I had a 1TB HDD and the OS already, so I didn't need to pay for those. The parts I got were motherboard, 8GB 1600 RAM, i5 2.8GHz quadcore processor, 2x5770 ATI cards in crossfire mode, full sized ATX case, H50 water cooler pump for the processo
I actually have gotten that same problem from games that are running the native resolution. Ones that I've played a few times before at full desktop resolution and seem to randomly change the position of the tabbed dock. It's not every time or every game, just periodically. It's really annoying.
Having used the free version of Object Dock for a couple years, I decided I liked it enough to pay for pro. I guess you could say it wasn't quite what I expected and at the same time was what I expected. Anyway, I'm wondering about a few things. 1. There are two distinct types of docks (quick launch and tabbed), but they behave quite different. One type will have functionality that I wish was in the other and vice versa. Will the functionality between the two different types ever be m
Makes me wonder if there is some hidden way of simply copying and pasting color schemes from one bar to another without having to "guess" whether or not you got the colors to match after you've created a new bar.
Ahh thanks for letting me know Shirley. I'll be sure to not send follow up messages. I actually thought I might be helping them out by sending more information regarding the duplicate orders. I also had a preorder in that particular order and wanted to make sure that didn't get applied twice. In the future I'll be more patient :) As I mentioned earlier, with CC payments coming due and fairly balanced budget, I was getting a bit nervous about things. Perhaps you guys could implem
Thank you Doc. I was just getting nervous due to CC payment coming up and maintaining a budget :) I also wasn't sure what a normal time to receive a response was. In the past responses were pretty quick, but I figured people were on vacation and holiday sale issues would push it out. Still a week and no response caused me a bit of concern. Thank you again for your help :)
I was charged twice for an order and sent an email to Stardock sales support, promptly getting an email with a ticket number. Now it has been over a week and I have heard nothing from sales support. Yesterday I sent a follow up email wondering if they have had a chance to look into the issue. How long should this process normally take. I've had issues in the past and they were resolved within a couple days. My CC bill is coming due and I need to know if I need to simply disp
Given my current lack of a gaming machine, I still had to fire up elemental to try out 1.1. I haven't played much (due to the lagginess of the game on a machine not designed to handle much of anything), but I found a couple of bugs that seem to have carried through the patch. One is that the faction creator colorings dont seem to work quite right. I picked my primary and secondary colors. Low and behold the color I end up with in game is the "map" color (peach-beige?). Not sure why that is bu
My comp is an HP laptop Nuff said as HP sucks as much as Dell. You had issues because HP uses the cheapest sorriest crapotola parts of all the systems out there except Dell which uses the same crappy crap.
Indeed, I bought that HP laptop out of necessity (which it wasn't even useful for what I had originally intended it to be). HP is one of the brands I steer clear of now (as is
Yeah, I'm not upset or anything about the comp dying. I knew when I bought it that it would probably die after a time due to heavy graphics use. I mainly got that computer when I started school and wanted something portable. As it turned out, it was not good at being either. The battery life on that comp was horrible (half hour at most fully charged and minimum power settings). I sort of rushed to get that laptop to replace my old desktop which had died a few months prior. My next gaming
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the on board graphics card is shot. I got a good almost 3 years out of that computer specifically for games, though I will likely never buy an HP machine as long as I live (the comp had a host of problems even before this latest one). Anyway, I'm not surprised or mad. Just more in a state of 'what should I do for games now?'. Luckily I have this laptop (the one I'm typing on) so I didn't lose anything truly important. Further, the HDDs in the 'dead' computer are still in
Ok, not to be so overdramatic, but the computer I use for gaming just had a major issue. I only bring this up here because I had just loaded an autosave from Elemental 1.08b when the issue began. It is unlikely that the game is the cause of the problem, but anything that could cause the graphic card of a computer to have major issues is worth noting. Anyway, the following is what I wrote on another website and I didn't want to type it all again.
My comp is an HP la
Caravans need a bit of an overhaul. You can't click on the functions of any tile that has a caravan on it. It's like the caravan trumps everything on that tile until it's moved. I did have a city in my latest game that simply would not accept any caravans. I couldn't move any of my caravans to the city at all. Couldn't even click on the city to bring up options (it was an opponent city). TAB should not cycle through caravans. This is so annoying. There should be a separate hotkey for
I'd like to see large units not crammed into one space and completely overlapping. Maybe something like all the units spread across the map, but selecting any one of them would select the unit and that unit would only execute once (like it currently does). It'd be more of an aesthetic thing than anything. The previous isn't that much of a mod sample though. Complex quest modding would be nice. Something like your sov would conjour one of each type of elemental golem and each one must
Just occurred to me that Volcano is in fact in the magic tree. I just hadn't researched far enough. I guess that can be taken off of my list above :)
Spell: Earthquake needs some help. It is an awesome spell and I hope it remains in the game. Problem is that it costs 1 mana to cast when it should be like 50 for how strong it is. Insta-city death when cast in the middle. It just needs some balancing and tweaking. Overall the principle is cool though. I'd like to see a spell called Volcano. Cast a single 9 square volcano near your enemies city and let the lava change the landscape over a range as well as destroying things in its path
ok and now i can defeat it [e digicons]o_O[/e] ???
Very carefully? Just kidding. Man thats some crazy stat'age. I haven't seen anything like that in 1.07 yet, but I'm almost hoping I do. I'd like to pit my armies against some epic creatures requiring whole armies in order to take down one giant creature. The loot reward on that better be epic lol.
