1) I think construction slots are a fixed number (50) regardless of where you build. 2) Most of the buildings can only be built once. Only houses/huts can be built multiple times (huts become houses automatically with appropriate research) 3) Yeah, holding any key while trying to use the mouse seems to make the mouse flake. This will likely be resolved in subsequent patches.
I'd love to be able to change the hotkey combo that brings up Reactor, as it's the same as the Steam one, and having both come up at the same time causes me to have to do musical chairs to get to the one that I wanted.
I think you can actually change the steam one in settings. Still be nice to have the option to change both, but that might help you out for the time being.

As been mentioned in other posts, an equipment comparitor window when buying things at the city market trader. I'd also like it if the victory window list displayed the characters that died and took the most damage were at the top of the list for quick viewing. There is a bug where the white text under the picture on the unit cards is lower than the black strip and often overlaps the black text in the white box. Whew, thats a mouth full. Basically the text on some cards s
I like having a space limit on buildings, though I think it would be much more interesting if this were based on town size/population rather than just a flat figure that you suddenly hit. And the space limit should be clearly displayed to the player. But its ridiculous that non-town resource buildings count towards this if any only if they touch the city.
Agreed

Yeah, I'd like to be able to fully customize my minions as well. I mean shouldn't I be able to tell them what color their smock should be or what brand of underwear they should have? Make it a royal mandate! Perhaps that functionality will make it into successive patches.

Will probably have start a new thread once the actual release patch is released. I'm so hoping it fixes alot of things. I've had so many crashes today its unbelievable. At least the patch notes indicate that many of the crashes will be resolved. So looking forward to that! :)

I actually like how this feels. It feels more "Alpha Centauri" like and less "Civilization". I spend alot of time focusing on my sovereign and champions and like the personalized feel of the progression of them. Anyway, I went into this game knowing next to nothing, so I dont have any real big disappointments. Once things are stabilized to where the game doesnt crash as often, I'll be even happier. Knowing Stardocks dedication to their games, I'm not too worried.

This is my civ4 replacement for quite some time :) I will be more happy when the game doesnt crash on me as often and other things are smoothed out, but I'm still playing prerelease day version, so I can't complain too much :) Soon as I can break myself away from the gameplay, I wanna do some major customization and make mods like the ones I have for civilization. I have the feeling its gonna be a while :)

Is the city tile size arbitrary or are there ways to increase that number? My first city in my first game ran into those problems of running out of space and couldn't grow beyond size 3. It was a WTF moment for me. Anyway, I think what I will do is build a 1 tile radius around my farms from now on, just so they are protected and yet not connected. Man my cities are gonna look funky with the giant gaping hole in the middle. I'd have to think this will be fixed at some point though.

Man, I bought 2 legendary swords I had "found" for my sov and a champion at 6k each. Sadly my champion died shortly afterward... I wish we could recover equipment on the battlefield after a battle. Sell most of it for money or whatever.

With stardock games, (actually with most games) I typically go through and click on every button on the UI just to see what it does the first time out. Most tutorials are simply wastes of time showing me things that are in every "insert genre" game. My first game had like 200 turns go by before I sort of got the hang of what I was doing. By then I'd made alot of mistakes, but learned alot too. The second game went much smoother (except where the AI super warmachine wiped everyone out by the 1

I actually find it annoying when esc doesnt open the menu in games. I was playing AOE3 last weekend and kept trying to press escape to exit the game or pause the game and nothing. It would be nice to have key bindings though. I wish the arrow keys moved the camera (or better yet, wasd with qe for rotation). The pre 0 patch version has alot of mouse camera jittering when moving and side scrolling doesnt seem as smooth as it should be. Click-drag-move is ok until you have to get across the map.

Yeah, I've found that sometimes there will be a positive growth number and the amount actually decreases. Usually within a turn or two of watching, things balance out. I'm hoping patch 0 will correctly alot of the wonky things in game. The patch released last night has done wonders in general for the game in terms of performance. It also fixed a few things, but not everythign by far. We'll see if patch 0 will smooth out the math stuff.

I found they boost your food a bit. Generally I can't place that last house I need to grow the city until I make a caravan. At the very least they generate money which is beneficial early on (from what I've found anyway... I could be doing something wrong). Anyway, they are cheap and they make those nice roads (I wish roads would reroute if you cast a mountain raising spell on a tile with a road. Instead it just goes up and over and my caravans get stuck sometimes because they cant go ov

Man, I played my first char for 3 hours the first night and 6 hours yesterday, only to die because I wasn't paying attention to the HP of my sov when I was romping through enemy lands. Then I played my second char for another 3 hours only to have the enemy that had romped through everyone show up at my doorstep and wipe out my psuedo well defended city (yes I'd only built one at that time.. was trying something different in terms of food production that I hadn't in the first game). Then playe
UI issue: Mouse is not locked in the game window in full-screen mode, which is a huge problem on dual-monitor setup. Basically scrolling towards the side where your other monitor is is unusable. For some silly reason even my own engine works right with this yet 95% of even the large games have slipped this past QA. Otherwise it would take half the game just to get one offspring. Now if I could just level them up without killing them off...

Sheesh, no one is using this thread. There are just a bunch of random threads about people complaining and not offering any suggestions on how to improve things in a clear concise way. Anyway, onward and upward!

I didn't see a thread dedicated to bugs and suggestions, so I figured I'd start one that can be pinned. Please just offer lists for ease of read by the devs. I think that will make things go smoothest. Bugs : 1) Enemy caravan stuck after city conquest. Even when I've expanded the city, it pushes the caravan out a tile, but the caravan is not targetable and does not move. 2) Caravan text card has overlap. Wh
