Seilore, great list. Here are a couple other bugs I've noticed so far. 1) Drengin went to war with me before we actually met (they were in UP, though) 2) When moving into fog of war, if you accidentally click on a planet or shipyard (that you cannot see), the movement selection will not go through. And a possible update to #26 (which I mention in the original post as well): It seems that the production queue issue is caused by attempting to build somethin

I've noticed this too, and it seems to me that it is caused by attempting to build something while a ship is moving. If you move a ship and select a planet/shipyard before it has used all its moves (or arrived at its destination), the queue won't update.

This is a problem I've noted before--it's been around for a while now. I'm not sure there is any work around, and it kind of happens intermittently (in my experience). I trust that this will be fixed, eventually. I just know that Paul has mentioned the ship designer will get polished, but I think the desire for now is to get the game feature-complete...

I've also experienced a crash on immense, but not until turn 132. I can't usually load the autosaves without it crashing, and I can only play a turn or two (or sometimes none) before it crashes again. Uploading crash report and support tool .zip file via support ticket...
Habitable planets (abundant) 3 planets near the first 10 stars I found. Pathetic no multiple habitable planet star systems. Galactic Civilizations II would have several multiple habitable planet systems around the home world. Galactic Civilizations III galactic settings are poor in relation to Galactic Civilizations II.
I noticed this and played with settings on several start ups. Keeping stars, planets, h
I should warn that this is a beta. We love and appreciate all the feedback everyone gives, but at this point if we find a structural issue that we have to address by breaking player designed ships. We will think hard about it and try to find a way not to do it (like adding the code that allows ships to stay even if they contain obsolete parts), but we do prioritize making the release game as good as possible over maintaining the existing

I think these are all great thoughts, peregrine23. I'm not sure how carriers will fit into the current scheme (in terms of the number of additional ships in battle), but even with carriers, I'm not sure the max number of ships in battle will be very high. I think more logistics would be good, but maybe there are other (additional) ways to increase fleet size (one of which is already in game but doesn't seem to be functioning). 1a) The Hyperion Logistics improvement

So, I've been quietly watching the ships go by while wishing I had more time... but little by little I've been building and I have three new ships. I must say that picking apart some of Rand's ships really pushed me in a new, and I think better, ship-building direction. In any case. Here is the first of the set of three ships: a medium hull corvette. <img src="http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w496/scrivener_of_light/GalCivIII/Corvette-Angle_zps1a05c24f.jpg"

Good call on the naming convention. I suspected it may have been because I was using an initial, hyphen, and number before the name, which isn't something I normally do, but that seemed to be about the only difference. And the ships named like that were not saved about half the time.

tammo74, hamilmac, Thecw, adamb1011, flamedragon8, Rand Johnson, and everybody else--I've really enjoyed watching all the ship designs! Rand, those latest two fighter designs are pretty wicked! I especially like the Dauntless--it's got some beautiful proportions and a great silhouette.

A little while ago I had another file-less ship issue, and I ran through your steps and everything seems to have worked. After I backup the design and submit it, I am going to see if it also remedied the file in the original save game...

Thanks Thecw. If I encounter this problem in the future (assuming the bug can't be found and squished), I'll try the process you've outlined. I really appreciate the detailed response.

Thanks Raynman--it helps knowing that this is where ships should be. But there is definitely a bug in this, and I'm not sure how to report it... Obviously, if I send the save game, you won't have the ship save file on your hard drive (which is the problem I am having). And I can't send the ship file, because it doesn't exist... I have the saved game with the ship in question visible in the designer (minus a thumbnail)--would it be helpful for me to submit a su
