Stardock ad reads Janitor required. Subservient attitude a plus. ;)

After 6 years I finally got a new computer! The old one works except when it doesn't. I think the power supply is going. Anyway it's only about 500 mHz. The new one is 2.6 mHz. Only slightly faster! right. This one I had built. No software of any sort. The guy who built it for me would load everything for $50 but I figured I can manage it and have a b
do what my students do. sleep in class and absorb through subliminal suggestion. As long as you don't snore, we won't make too much fun of you. Mind, we might sneak out and go somewhere else without warning too. I once had a student fall asleep while writing his final exam!
very nice. very nice indeed! :D
more toys and better toys. I'm looking forward to Power Tune in particular. Enhanced File Dialogue looks pretty cool too.
The most frightening movie I ever saw! I've always said that one of the best things I've done as a parent was to wean my children away from fast food in general and McD's in particular. If there was ever a sign about changing diet and lifestyle, Super Size is it. I think I'll go work out now.
Have you compared the depth/value of a degree from deVry vs U of C or the U of A? Edmonton has the additional costs of residence but AFAIK a very good reputation. From what I understand, DeVry is quite expensive and U of A (my alma mater fwiw) might be a better choice financially.
I want to talk a bit about our Sunday walk this week. Once a year, the Canadian Cancer Society holds their "Run for the Cure" event. In a number of locations in Canada, they have a 5 km run/walk to raise money for breast cancer research. Having a wife and 2 daughters, I see this as somewhat important. Not to mention an intrinsic interest of my own. Anyway
Well, let's try this again. I've always been into fitness to some degree although I do let it slide from time to time. Mostly self-oriented stuff like running, cycling and weights. Unfortunately, I kinda like my beer too. Jack Daniels is good. Vermouth I like too. You get the idea. So even though I work out regularly, I've found my blood pressure a bit
I agree with you Karmagirl and long since ceased to worry about helping those determined to fail. It is their right after all. And the ones who care are a joy to work with.
Thanks Pat. I see them now ok.
My first blog. Another blogger got me thinking about the education of adults. Like him, I spent many years as a cook and a chef. Now I teach. I think. When I first began, I thought, "this'll be great. Students are paying good money to learn what they need to enter a new career. Keen, eager and all that". Ahh, the naivity. I'm thinking they can hardl
You'll like teaching. Eager young minds and all that. Well - some of them anyway. I too went from being a chef to being an educator. At least that's what they pay me for.

Uploading picture problem. I get a notice that the upload was successful but both the icon and picture are broken (red x). I'm using jpg format.
First anything was a 45 - Sugar Shack by Bill Haley and the Comets. I did get a bunch of 78's with old jazz. I miss those a lot. First album was (I think) Soft Parade by the Doors. First CD - hmmm. Oddly I can't remember. As you get old, recent memory goes first. HMV is usually the place I get stuff now. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle

Happy Birthday WOM. Oldest postman on the block?
So you don't really want to know what people think of the idea? That surprises me and doesn't sound like Brad. Personally I trust Stardock, after all I got so much stuff on that I'd be totally screwed if they weren't trustworthy. Certainly SkinSpy is a user-choice so there shouldn't be any problems if one chooses not to run it. A couple of folks have suggested that current sensitivity (seems to me Joe User has a blog on this) to spyware might indicate a rash of negativity arising fro
any adults here? Nope. They''re not expected back for a couple of hours. Party on!
...I could animate the start button with a graphic that has Mime stick 'his' tongue out at you. Heck, I'd use that!
