Unfortunately that hasn't worked for me. Theme manger locks up when trying to change the skin and task manger is required to kill the process. I have had a little success with docking the bar elsewhere but not consistently.

each user can apply the skin he prefers
I've seen many of the issues that Scott identified in his long post on another thread. Here's another that nobody has mentioned (maybe it's just me?). I have my OB set to use the current WB skin. Sometimes it works fine right off, sometimes after logging out and back in. Most often when I change the WB, OB background is a black and white striped affair. The section titles and menus are fine but the bar itself shows no relation to the skin.
Heck at my age I have trouble remembering last week never mind 4 years back. If I need to know anything important, my wife will let me know what it is since she's the one with the memory.
Now that's neat!
Thanks. W2 has been much slower than we've been used to. It's good to get it running up to speed again.
I am wearing my favourite skin! I think the convention can be wherever Brad's learjet will take us!
I'm not quit sure this fits but I've found that a Microsoft Antispyware scan pretty much drags my system to a halt if DX is running. With DX unloaded, it's still slow but useable.
a couple of us noticed that ED screwed up McAfee Security Center. I too went through a whole bunch of uninstall, virus scans and reinstalls. Excluding doesn't resolve, only uninstalling ED. Reported to support @ stardock
congratulations!
I like it but the scheduled scan slows my home computer to an absolute crawl. I can't even get taskmanager to open while it's running.
there was a problem with SDC which has been fixed. give it another go.
I just knew this would happen from the title alone. My experience has been that Stardock stuff works just fine here in Canada, eh! I get really annoyed at some other companies who want you to register their products but only take US zip codes. That however has nothing to do with these good folks.
alrighty then. bringing back an old issue. Was there ever resolution here (other than the somewhat less than helpful use old version). Aero clock liked where I put it but glassy doesn't.
Welcome Cordelia and thanks for all the great articles. I'm getting to like RC more and more. Odd thing on my home machine though - the menu is listed horizontally instead of vertically. I can't see any settings that allow for that. Any suggestions other than uninstall/reinstall?
funny thing about it. My kids have msn messenger installed and messenger plus. Antispyware identifies this as high level spyware and it's a MS program. left hand knows not what the right hand is doing?
Well I'm just thick. I see no evidence of anything - even with notepad. I'm not even sure where to look.
I suspect Teddy is a rumor - or should be!
I found myself at the top of the google list. Amazing.
Happy New Year and Good Night. I haven't seen 3 am from that side for many, many years.
mostly in a state of confusion. Calgary, Alberta, Canada where it's currently -23 C. Driving from Sundre to Didsbury at 3 am was a tad more than I needed. Good thing we had a DD.
"WinCustomize Subscribers. For 2005 we will be putting in more effort for WinCustomize subscribers to be able to get additional suites and skins and other goodies. We also plan to provide more goodies for WinCustomize subscribers and skinners such as sneak previews of videos we plan on doing (video reviews of skins and themes and such). there is a plug-in for the new OB that has virtual desktops
OB is without doubt the most functional part of the whole OD suite for me. looking forward to playing with the new version.
I admit that I'm guilty of rarely posing comments. A lot of the stuff I've downloaded are really cool but I feel it's unfair to comment before I've used it for awhile. Buy then I've lost attenti . . . what a cool background. Did I mention ADHD? What was the topic again? <img src="http://images.stardock.com
