I have to agree about the front page being too crowded. New skins etc. have their own tabs so showing them on the front as well just adds to the clutter. Likewise with newest articles. Perhaps a summary list, if that. Thumbs in the New and Popular tabs would help a lot as well. I don't want to preview everything listed to get a look at the skin. Articles and particularly Forum posts could be a little easier to navigate. As some

I know I shouldn't continue the high-jack but: do the other tabs keep loading in the background while the foreground window is trying to load? You can configure Avant Browser to do this very easily. The nice thing is you can finish with a page while the other loads in the background. Re the Outsider - right on! I've played with DX and found it was way too much for what I used it for. I'm experimenting with a few widgets now

Of course you do realize that you're preaching to the choir? That is, those who will read this are likely those who don't need to and those who need to won't. /me hurt himself with that last sentence.

FWIW, I installed XP Pro and SP2 on a new machine before installing any SD programs (including bootskins). The only problem I had was limited user access to WB but that was easily fixed. Bootskins works fine.

Love Guiness on tap. I've had Wittbread ale in a can with that little rocket thing. Pretty good. What I drink depends on mood and situation. For beer I like Old Milwakee if I'm visiting and plan on having a few. Good flavor and not too heavy. On occasion I'll have Big Rock Traditional Ale. A very good dark ale by a local microbrewery. Wine with meals of course. In the evening I like sipping Martini & Rossi sweet red vermouth on ice. Kind of gentle. When I don't want

I like Avant for all the reasons mentioned above. As well, the UI is easily modified to the way I want to see it. I like to have as much real estate as possible so bars and icons are adjusted to suit. Pop-up and Ad-blocking are excellent, even without SP2 I very rarely get these annoyances. Even flash is easily blocked. I know you can do all that with Firefox but I found it to be too much work to do what I already got with AB.

I've been using Avant for about a year. Love the tabs, ease of moving from one to another. Pop-up blocking and ad blocking work great. Security issues - well that's why I have up-to-date firewall and virus protection. I've played with Firefox but I find it's too much work just to get it up to what AB has out of the starting gate. I only use IE for windows updates.

Between OB & OD, my use of taskbars is more limited than it was. However, when I use one it's usually vertical. A few WB look odd but most don't come out too badly. Those that do, I either live with or change. I hate having to remember where I left it. Have enough of that with the car keys. <img src="http://images.s
