I don't think i have ever built a CE center.Even for the morale boost. I wouldn't have even noticed it gone. At most I've had one or two AI spies that i couldnt get rid of imediately. I understand that its possible to have a few other races attack you at the same time; but even then, how many spies are we talking about? I would go so far as to call it a game ender or that the race can't be played. For those races you'd have to change up your strategy and have a larger pool of spies. I

This "cheese" of course only works if your fleet module ship has on-typr defences. If you go up against another enemy or if the AI uses another weapon type, that ship won't be invincible.

I wouldn't consider that to be cheese either. It's a tactic that is supposed to work that way. No matter what kinda of ordering calculation the program would use to target ships, there would be a way to design your ships to counter it. This is using strategy to win battles / save your more important ships. Hwere it gets cheesy is that the AI wouldn't be able to think of it, but since the AI probably won't arm the fleet support ships, they would remain safe. If there wasn't a way to ke

I have one specialized tech world, the one that has my research capital. Other than that i build like one research building per planet unless there are multiple bonus tiles. the rest of my planets are half factory and half economic with a farm thrown in. Later in the game when i have more than enough planets creating ships, I'll fill PQ10 or less with all stock exchanges (+farm).

Well if you think about what the pirates and peace keepers do to your game, consider this event to be the opposite. If it happens early in the game when you can't get the cure in 1 week it won't be so fun;unless you consider a negative economy and 1% approval to be fun. I don't know what happened to that link. I know there used to be at least one decent example. Other than that I can't help yoyu with game examples. However, there are quite a few posts that deal with specific aspects of the game. So instaed of a copmplete game example you may read about farms, or weapons strategies, etc. I think everything has been discussed at some point. I did know about the prisonor of war chapter of his life. I did not know anything about his children. Maybe HE should have his daughter do a cutsie routie for the cameras too as Nobama did. I had the plague event where all abilities were set to zero a while ago on DA. The AI would never have gotten the cure without me. I was lucky enough to get it in like 3 turns even with my abilities gone. It may be that the AI places in some sort of queue as Xrati said. BUt if the AI actually has a few techs in their list it may take a long time before the cure comes up. The AI doesn't change mid-tech.

I've never gotten this event but I've seen it mentioned for DA. The difference being, in DA i think one of the major races gets the event. From what i know, it will increase the races abilities over time, however don't be alarmed because for what I remember the change is very slow and the race never qyuite gets to be all that powerful. Thjis may be different in TA though. What is the ICTG btw?
