Thanks Very much Car.. I wasn't Running UAC before and now that I started to and turned UAC on it would seem that now my widgets and Desktop X are doing great and working as normal.. I find it very wierd but glad for the advice Car and am relieved that the Desktop X issue got fixed. Thanks again :D All Hail Stardock and its Community! ;) Anne

Vista SP 1 RC released! in Windows Vista WinCustomize Forums

Ello. I installed Service Pack 1 RC canidiate last night. Well Now I notice that I have an Issue with some of my desktop X widgets. I get an Error and then Vista shuts em down. I have noticed this especially with Weather Widgets. I am not sure what I should do but I am using Vista Ultimate and desktop X 3.5 I wanted to give everyone a heads up on this issue I found. Any advice anyone has to offer would be helpful. Thanks Anne

I love RPG games.. I am actually a big gamer and just got done Playing City of Heroes and love the NCSoft Games.. I play all the Sims and Sims 2 games and most other EA Games *other than the Sports ones* such as NFS underground 1 and 2, Black and White 1 and 2 and the expansions. The only FPS I really like are American McGee's Alice and game Clive Barkers Undying. I like Catz and Petz Vet from Ubisoft. Luckily I fixed ANY and all issues with Vista and ALL my games :) so I

I also found that in Vista that if you have system restore enabled it allows Windows to make restore points anytime it wants and they can take up some UNBLELIEVABLE space. There is an option to clean up restore points when you do a Disk Cleanup. I am not sure if this helps at all Richard but I just wanted to share my bit of information I found. :) Anne

OH?? Hum no I didn't quite realize that process of prompting WB to ignore the problematic programs.. WB 6 and Issues?? in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Okay well its been a few since WB 6 came out. I LOVE this version and it works great! Stardock has done a great job updating and adding some wonderful tweaks and such with this! I am happy that I had bought WB in time and got the update to WB 6. I do plan on continue using it.. Its great.. That said though I do have some issues. The program WB 6 itself works great. I love AskewBowl's idea of the weather on the desktop.. I honestly don't know how one would go about doing that for a dream but I want to say that I agree that the weather idea is a great idea for a dream :) I also think more winter dreams would be a great idea..
