Version 1.01 worked great for me! and 1.02 should too, but doesn't. When I revert back to the previous version I have no problems, I think 1.02 is a little premature... Edit: I went back and did a complete unistall of Deskscapes (all versions) and found that the 1.02 install, had killed the vista dreamscenes, now only a .dream will play, and not all of them and only when Deskscapes is installed. what comes with vista is now dead.....<b

ok this is what you do, bear in mind this is editing the registry so follow these directions very carefully. go to start,run and type REGEDIT and hit ok.when the registry opens up click HKEY_CURRENT_USER then click CONTROL PANEL you will see a folder called "desktop" click on the desktop folder you will see a huge lists of commands on your right side of the registry, find where it says "menushowdelay" the default is 400 you may put this to a lower number such as 25 do not go any where below 1 ot

i professionaly build my own, this way i get what i want and i know for a fact it is going to work and not have a million and one problems like the HP's,compaq's and dell's do plus i can install any OS i want on it with out having to pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars more.and if something goes wrong for example a massive hardware failure such as the PSU blowing up on me i can take out the PSU and replace it with a newer and more powerfull one with out the fear of void any warranty's.the

you mean vista isn't like winblows XP where you have a certain activation limit? so i can do a fresh install & activate my copy of vista like a thousand one times and it won't give me that "you've reached your activation limit" BS? No BS at all. As long as its on the same machine with no hardware changes you can reformat as many times as you like. But you can re-activate 10 times if new hardware is put in.

the only way to get vista of your new system is a few simple words...format the HDD...technically there is NO way you can get vista to uninstall as it is a "fresh" install of the vista OS.you have to format your HDD and do a fresh install of XP
