um...the "how you get to this point" is really the only thing that matters. the level 20 stats are irrelevant.

large minion armies have very high sustained damage while the minions are alive (or being resummoned fast enough). there's kind of a big disparity between Oak/Erebus (who can spawn large numbers of their own minions) and Sedna/Queen (who are maxed at 4 of their minions) when it comes to equipment benefits. obviously more minions compounds equipment benefits and Morale Skill point benefits by a greater amount. this is why you rarely ever see a Minion build of Sedna
Question: Should I Lock This Flag? answer: YES!!!! if you don't TheGuildfordStrangler will come to your house at night and drink all your beer and pee in your sink and he won't even apologize. seriously, learn to use Flag Locks. its a consumable item that costs 250 gold at the item store. prevents a flag you control from being capped for 45 seconds. some fl
note: credit due to PhoenixBomb who said exactly this in his post earlier in the thread. i've merely reposted it in a stripped down easier to read format. Question: When Should I Get Priests Upgrade for my Creep Waves? Answer: War Rank 8. Buy them at the same time as Angels and Catapults. this provides a very strong endgame push that is hard for opponents to deal with
Question: WTFHAX! How did he do that? Must be cheating! Answer: No. He's not. You can't cheat in Demigod without causing a de-sync, so unless your game got desynced its all legal. He's probably just using a favor item or something you don't know about. Maybe he capped a flag that gave him some bonus you didn't account for. Maybe he used some consumables you didn't know about. &
Question: What Starting Items Should I Take? Answer: Depends on your demigod and strategy but certain choices are hard to go wrong with. the following are all pretty good choices for almost every situation. Package 1 Banded Armor Scaled Helm Package 2</spa
to be perfectly honest, every favor item may as well have a cost of zero. favor resets aren't frequent enough for it to be a big deal. i mean hell, you can even get a Heaven's Wrath in a day or two if you play enough. Pantheon seasons (when the friggin thing works anyway) last like 2 weeks on average. none of the favor items are adequately balanced on cost. because the cost is effectively zero for all of them. the only meaningful cost they have is the opportunity
Lieu, truly a noble effort, both admirable and kinda humorous at the same time. in either case i like it. thanks. HOWEVER....now do you understand why I said your original presentation was kinda, uh, not helpful? It was the sort of thing that was obviously correct and relevant to people who already knew the right answer but was counter-intuitive and appeared wrong (though it was right) to people with a weak math background. this is what we h
my take on a Hybrid Spit+Ooze build, mind you this doesn't always work. kind of a high risk high reward type of strategy. Skill Progression 1. Spit 1 2. Diseased Claws 1 3. Ooze 1 4. Spit 2 5. Ooze 2 6. Foul Grasp 1 7. Spit 3 8. Ooze 3 9. saved 10. Spit 4 and Ooze 4 11. Inner Beast 1 12. Inner Beast 2 13. Inner Be
i'm not a dev, but the answer is no.
level 2 Rain of Ice instant clears a basic creep wave. seems fine to me if your mana situation is decent. if you're tight on mana i'd save it for putting the debuff on some DG's (and their minions) but other than that, why not farm faster?
2 statements about the math: 1) Lieu is basically correct but has presented the conclusion very poorly by leaving out many intermediate steps. 2) the best way to understand the action is to break down the events into 2 stages (which is what happens in game anyway), where each stage affects a different quantity. you can then go ahead and combine the net effect of the 2 stages and get Lieu's numbers, but thats not particularly helpful in my op
test is thrown off immensely due to impact of Ooze, which specifically debuffs the stat that the damage stacking beast is stacking. i admire your dedication but these results seem to prove little other than the fact that Ooze severely impacts the auto-attack stat, which we already knew from reading the tooltip.
doesn't stack. it if triggers a second time the duration refreshes.
nonono, you misunderstand. if the enemy DG is actually fighting you, forget their priests and either fight them back or GTFO. i was referring to another fairly common situation where the two of you are more or less ignoring each other. comes up alot in lane dominance struggles in the early game where neither of you can reliably kill the other. also happens alot in multi-DG matchups, killing priests is even more important their since it will preven
how about Heaven's Wrath for Favor item instead of Staff of Renewal?
You guys still haven't explained to me how at level 1 eb can slaughter rook. And for the most part im talking about toe to toe not running away. ----------------- i think alot of us did offer some explanations, but the sparse details you've provided make it hard to know what was going on. i'm gonna take a guess, here's my shot. Erebus took Blood of the Fallen as favor item and bought Monk Idol
double blind is logically equivalent to All Random. i.e., none of the players know what any of the other players is playing including themselves. anyway, yeah, i agree with the OP. there's no issue with more than one of the same DG on a side. who cares. only eight in the game and there's enough internal variety for each DG that they might have very different playstyles anyway. in addition to that, i don't believe for a minute that stacking t
hell, i kill them even when their owner can resummon them. only takes a couple of whacks and unless their owner is directing his attention directly at you he may not notice what you're doing and may not realize his priests are dead for a couple of minutes.
thanks for the feedback guys. @Dustbin, when I'm playing Oak i find that Idol Summons have such a low mana cost and Raise Dead Ward Spirits are so plentiful that its just a waste to even bother healing them. perhaps things are different for other generals. @Teseer, I agree that Groffling Warplate and Platemail of the Crusader both have excellent and worthwhile stats. I'm just not so happy about the costs. I find myself freque
uh... Bite. Health Drain Items (Narmoth's Ring, Mageslayer, Ashkandor). Priest Minions (heal him once every 9-10 seconds). Stacked Health Regen Items and Flags.
in no particular order, and of course, these are simply my opinions. Consumables 1. Restorative Scroll - why doesn't it also cleanse Demigods? removing debuffs from your minions is not particularly useful. - would like to see this cost 500, but remove debuffs from DG and have a minor passive bonus while holding it. 2. Hex Scroll - i've never used or seen of these used in
$10 (U.S.) for a micro-expansion with 2 new Demigods, one new map, and several new items. should also include substantive revisions to existing maps and demigods and perhaps new features such as new Play Modes.
its no victory if he come back at you 5 seconds later with full health and mana while you're still at below half health and mana. he'll just win in round 2. no, you really do have to be able to get the kill. or at least interrupt the HoL. not every DG can do this effectievly. you need some kind or ranged poking or harrassing ability. Regulus, TB, Oak, and to some extend UB can all do this effectively. the other DG's have alot of trouble fending him off.</p
