Well I tried it (I made it a targa file and then put it in the Racelogos.tga (I made it small and then put it next to that glove thing) and now all the faction icons in the game are white squares... OMG! Theres no eraser tool in Picture it... Do I need to uninstall SoaSE.
Tis fairly simple, just open it up in Photoshop or whatever, replace the logo on both the normal and alpha channel things and then load the game. Mkay... Too bad I don't have photo shop... Now when you say normal and alpha ... I'll try to just put it in that file, nice hammer and sickle btw

Just a matter of editing it into RaceLogos.tga in it in the textures folder. Though obviously that won't cut it when it comes time for multiplayer. Well, as far a single player, how would I insert the imp icon (and what color what I need to make it).

Can anyone find out how to insert a custom faction icon into the game? If you could that'd be sweet (of course mine would be the Imperial icon).
My friend said that PC Gamer had a picture of the Novalith and it was the one below, but that looks VERY Vasari-ish...and so does everything else in that picture. So is this the Vasari super weapon or is the Novalith the Vasari super weapon?

What I'd really like to see is having the pirate base always be off the sun (like mine was, it had a connection to the sun and nowhere else) and then when you destroy the base, the planet itself goes "boom"... and the grav well collapses, vanishing permanently, as soon as all ships have left the well.
