I'm thinking the experience upgrades should make them legendary after they single handedly take on entire empires. That would make for a rather long
Any update on the warfront? Have you hit the Illdrians yet? I'm wondering if their strength is more show or if they're really a threat. I'm wondering if you'll need fleets to take their individual ships out or if they're just concentrating on a single defense type. On mine, a little has happened. I just got the MCC in early year 1, so my economy should start perking along. I've been below -500 a few times now. <
You guys rock! Looking forward to it in a big way. [e digicons]:D[/e]
That's usually a problem with Impulse. They changed the login process from your alias to your email address. You'll need to update the Impulse client and log in with the email address that you originally used. The game should then be available for download. You can ask for help in the Impulse forums, but I found it quicker to PM an Impulse employee. Be careful to note the difference between an employee and what they call a moderator there.
I was having a similar problem here until I cleared my DNS cache, but the slowdown only started this morning and ended after the flush. ipconfig /flushdns
Sounds like a fun game Neilo. One that could get immersive. Yeah, the AI seem to put a lot into defense. Good hunting when you open the gun ports on them. I've started a vanilla Torian game. As usual, my economy keeps threatening to run bankrupt. I thought the Torians would be able to beat that with their super breeder skill, but they're not as bouyant as the Terrans. I'll turn it around before long though. Meeting 3 minor
I finished my Terran game and posted it to the metaverse. I posted the individual scores for comparing strength and such in our team thread https://forums.galciv2.com/154389/page/131/#3075710 It looks like a quick game, but it took me several days to complete it. I'm taking the Torians out for a spin now.

It didn't take long to erase the AI. I just researched psionic beams and upgraded their fighters to small beam ships. I used their own transporters against them and supplemented them with some small ones of my own. Even with a small mil score, the overall was pretty decent. Ah, I see how that could work out. Kind of like planting a virus in there and watching it take hold. Nice. My Terran game has pretty much run its course as far as a test run goes. I think I'll research some hulls and weapons tech and go to war. LOL - I don't remember where I built the SCC and I can't find the planet. I guess I won't be starting anything from wherever that might have been. <
I don't know the math and it would make the game boring if I did TBH. But I'm giving the Terrans a test run in DA in my current game. The Terrans are somewhat of a mystery to some of us older players. (We were scoremongers in the old days and didn't use the Terrans since they weren't good for score). I'm running with vanilla Terrans against vanilla AI. No mods, ARC, advanced tricks or anything like that. Abilities are default, but I chos

The Terrans are definitely overpowered. It's early year 1 and I have all treaties from everyone without using advanced tricks. I also haven't given my treaties to anyone. My economy is in the green and I've even built the SCC just to get it off of the project list. I haven't parked a single fighter under it and the AI are still groveling at my feet. My only fighters are the ones I bought from the AI and landed on various planets.

I'm not saying to copy the post. The URL has a number in it to identify the post. You can copy that number and log into a linked site. Paste the number into the URL and it'll take you to the offending post. You can report it from there and it should show up to that site's moderators.
