I agree with Mumblefratz. I think it depends on your gaming style and what you're used to. Small maps are dead center of my comfort zone. I had been playing them almost exclusively until the league faced me off with the medium map. It was difficult at first, but I adapted. I think it was because of the difficulties that Mumble mentioned, abeit in reverse. I recently finished a large map and found that it wasn't much harder after dealing with the medium one. I've CTRL-Ned in real life on several occasions. Sometimes, you actually do get a do-over. The option makes sense if you're playing in a league or tournament, to some extent. It levels the playing field. I also don't submit my defeats. Well, I have, but very rarely.

Seems like some varying ideas are starting to surface. That's a good thing. IMO, bonus points are a tad heavy. I'd like to see only one point max for any bonus, beit high score or fast game. Maybe one each to the two fastest players or highest scorers, depending on the game. Also, since the person submitting the game to the league takes the chance of being bested, I think the first person to submit a winning game to the league should get a bonus point. My apologies to Piznit and MarshallONeil for your excellent games. My eyes tend to pick up on the graphical submissions, so I overlooked yours. I misunderstood the submission as opposed to posting of the games as well. It only made sense to me that submission into (or posting to, as I read it to mean the same) the League thread was the tie breaker. My bad.
