He was saying that the "evil" part of Elwood was shining through, but he hasn't yet joined the Tyranny of Evil... Sort of like if I had a penchance the throw up hairballs and wave my butt in the air when people walk near me, but I haven't joined the Kzinti Empire.
If I'm a Super Hive, I will just pay to build them since they are cheaper anyhow. If I'm not, I will usually drop an enhanced factory or 2 and then upgrade them at some point later.

Ah the good ol days. Atari 2600 rocked
1. I believe it is somewhat random. I have reloaded from a save, and not only do you sometimes fail to get a tech, but also when you do get one, its not always the same tech it was the first time. 2. Ask Drrider or Biztoc (sp), they seem to be the "nuts and bolts of the game" gurus.
I want a flying car... Randal: Are you saying you wouldnt cut off your foot for the flying car? You are that selfish? Dante: Its my foot how am I supposed to walk? Randal: Why Walk? You'll have the Flying Car!
They have those now but they changed the name. They are called planes.
1. Those people "out of work" are probably not. They most likely got another job where they are actually needed, and possibly even happier at the new job. 2. Those 5 jobs that were "lost" to humans aren't really lost. They are just replaced by something else. When that Big Red Machine breaks, there is now a mechanic who has a job fixing it, and a stocker who job it is to put movies in it, and someone else who collects and counts the money. And the construction workers who BUILD th

You probably have to: 1. Contact Stardock about new registration keys at a discounted price. Or, 2. Return the game to the store for a refund, its against the EULA they should take it back, or, 3. Play the OLD demo over and over. Not sure what other options you will have.
I like holding my peace... Lets move to the next issues
Comedy-wise, the two best "screams" have to be: 1. Cameron in Ferris Bueller after he sees the mileage on the car. 2. Daniel Stern in Home Alone when the tarantula is placed square on his face. That scream is bloodcurdling.
How do I resize THIS badboy to banner proportions to compete against Team D in coolness? This took me at least 3 minutes to do
Does it have any bonus tiles? That will often dictate what I use it for. Otherwise, if its near the frontlines, I might make it a shipbuilding planet. If its tucked into a corner I might leave it as a research or money planet. Be aware if its a lab planet it'll be expensive. If you only have a few planets, make it a econ world so the others can crank out ships etc.
I wonder how much larger an area of space would be affected by a nuke in a vaccuum, though. The energy expended would have no air resistance or friction to slow/absorb the speed until it hit a planet or asteroid or something else. In atmosphere, all that super-heated air eventually consumes the energy of the bomb, thus stopping the radius of the blast. But in space...that would be one hell of a blast zone! I'm probably wrong on some point but it is still interesting to think about.
wow...that's just, wow.
I currently have just the 1 character that I submit games under so I could easily create a MVL character for an "AltMeta" empire. I would be in favor of that.
Question, sorta off topic. Right now in the beta, you can play the Drengin, Arceans, and Terrans. In your games, is it only those 3 races, or are the other races still available to play, also? Reason for asking is because it is already obvious that there are some tweaks that need to be made when instances such as the one above occur. And as they add in the other modified races, will the first 3 still be available to see how they interact with each other
Peaceful compared to the Axis powers at the time Getting back to the original post, though. I have on several occasions declined the money that races offer me as gratitude to my awesomeness for roleplaying reasons. Definitely not the smartest thing to do since free money is always good, but if I'm the Korath or some other race that views themselves as elitists, why would I want an inferior races dirty, stinking money when I am
Thats good to know, I was seriously sweating bullets there for a minute...
Haha that picture has me cracking up. I had a 3rd grade teacher that looked JUST like that.
I still think the rewards for the ethical choices should take into account where you are on the scale already. As it is now, choosing the good option is rarely (if ever) as beneficial as the neutral/evil choice. There would be 2 ways to look at it. 1. If you're good already, you should be penalized for deciding on an evil option since that would be out of character or against the ingrained thoughts of the people whereas you should be rewarded for maintaining your "good" standards.
Does establishing the relations higher in the setup menu not trip the cheat flag? I've never messed with them, they are always on "unknown" so I have no clue.
People seem to think that being rich involves expensive cars and homes. A lot of the people you see that you might think are rich really aren't. They may have a high income but a high income is not wealth. Conversely those that are truly wealthy often don't look the part. The rich are rich precisely because they don't let their money burn a hole in their pocket. True wealth doesn't really have to be all that much money as long as you are modest in your needs.
