1. If you single click the building, it should tell you what it does in the little space just to the left of the list of structures, including build time etc. 2. I dont think so, if there is I havent found it. 3. You can save that ship design, and when you are ready to upgrade JUST weapons, go to the shipyard, pull up that schematic, remove the current weapons and add the new ones. That will save a LOT of time. 4. Left click the little icon in the window that show

It depends on the strat you want to use, and heavily dependant on tech rate speed also. If I have a good research bonus or tech rate is fairly high, you can research the extreme pretty quick and get a colony started there. The problem with that is twofold, though. One, you onlt get half production, and two, to get full production means an even longer research on the advanced tech. A benefit of this approach is that later ( if you have tech trading on ), the AI will pay some nice BC for the t
So the first game I finished for Team A just now didnt work out too well. My score wasnt what I hoped, so Im gonna finish the other game and see if that gets a higher score. Until we get a private forum I will leave it at that I suppose other than to say its the highest score I have achieved for a tech victory with the tech rate set at so slow a level.
Yeah, I havent gotten any email. I'll check into later today, I just got to work.
Okie Dokie, registered
Registering right now, I was actually busy playing one of my 2 games to submit whichever score ends up higher. Im trying 2 different strats with the Arceans )) And I will be Murdoch, the crazy one!
Stanley Tarrant: Im sure you were partially joking, but I think the meaning of what themocaw was asking is can a human allow himself to believe there is something beyond what our human limits can figure out. And I say yes. Put another way, if the car you own can only reach a speed limit of 45 mph, are you willing to believe there is a speed in another car that can go beyond 45 mph, or is that all you can accept because you have never experienced it yourself. What's rea
It does answer part of the question. But will we know the other people's scores? Or only the commissioner ( score keeper ). Like will I be able to look at an updated list and say, "Ok theres the score I have to beat". Or will it all be revealed at the end of the month? EDIT: never mind, I guess it will be publicly posted on the forum when someone wants thier score to count, so each person can view it independently.
Yes, the blind comment was only a joke. I guess I should have said it will make you grow hair on your palms from holding the Wii too long.
Playing too much Wii can make you go blind...
Few questions I might have missed in the thread from earlier. 1. Are scores kept secret until the end of the tourney? If not, I'm assuming we can continue to play games to try and better our score. 2. Related to that, can we submit a game, but then try to beat it and have that score count? Or is it a one time thing?
could be, Ive never played DL, I just started bout a month ago
hmm, I wonder if score or type of victory matters
IsotheWise: I dont know the name of the super event. But the text runs something along the lines of "Interest in all things foriegn has increased and trade revenues are expected to increase by a value of 10X". Its kinda similar to the tax rate boost or the influence boost, but it states it is for trade. Ive only seen it once or twice.
Yeah and looking at Purge's profile, he has only played 1 more game as the Drath vs. the Torians, so I don't get it
Yeah at one point I think Kyro said you had to have twice as many games played with one race vs any other race but not half your total games. I completed the first one, but not that latter. If thats the case I might just give up on that medal haha
Whats the web address?
Man, I have been cranking out games with the Arceans, what do you have to do to get the Icon in your sig? I have played double the games with that race than any other race combined. Do you have to have like half of your total games played as that one race?
Tech victory isnt too tough. Slow research will make it a little harder. I like the "A-Team". Theres 4 of us. One of us can be Hannibal, B.A. Barrackus, Face, and Murdoch. Sweet. So couple of options for a tech victory. You can go Altarian, max out research bonus, political party research, and go all labs would be one option. That leaves you somewhat weak militarily and you will be hurting for money. Option 2 is probably what I will do. Either Terran or Drath for the Diploma
It would except I cant read it, its a horizontal scroll but only tall enough to see "Code: html".
Team A, should we start a thread to figure out a name? And I will need help figuring out how to add the banner we use, because I cant seem to get it to work.
If tech trading is on, I will colonize as many planets as possible, economy be damned. If Tech trading is off, usually 3 to 4, and extreme environments if I find a worthwhile one. What I really enjoy doing is colonizing PQ 1 planets late in the game and watching them become 15 and 16's because of techs, and the AI basically ignores them. Of course it helps to be neutral for the terraforming.
I elect you to team B
And space mining, other than default, is after you unlock Logistics I think? Or advanced hulls or something.
