When I start a new game and I get to the main menu, all of the buttons are blank. Also when I setup a new game coma the galaxy size and custom map screens are blank as well. Oops I put the word come istead of a coma. I also found that the next and back buttons are also blank, I found that the sandbox game senario is blank as well as the races super ability, homeworld and leader name are blank. Can you give me any help?

PS: excuse any english mistake I could make, its not my native language, thx (but dont hesitate to correct me anyway, learning blablabla) What is your native language then?
Don't give Homsar a hard time, guys. Feel free to ask questions, just don't expect answers At least you might in the story.
As an addendum to the example above, I was playing that gigantic map PRAYING that the super event would trigger where trade revenue increases by a value of 10X. That was the whole point of playing that game, I wanted to see 20000+ BC a turn from trade, but it didnt happen, boo... What event is this? I have not encoutered it before. Anywho when I set up my trade network I usally have most of my trade routes leaveing my homeworld. I like having trade rout
is there some technology that you have to research to get the miners to work? because my miners are DEF. not set for mining... There are three mining techs (space mining I,II,III) but they should have no effect on space miners (other than upgrade mines).
Damage to a planet on a failed invasion is not likely to happen. Stardock chose to not include planetary bombardment in the game (where you use ships to blast the planet from orbit, either before an invasion, or with no intent of invasion), with the exception of the spore ships. This prevents "scorched-earth" policies in war, where you focus not on capturing planets, but bombarding them to oblivion. Traditionally in games, it's easier to do this than stage invasions. I
Shiny cannister Blazing through the atmosphere; Death rides a new horse. Spore. When you absolutely, positively got to kill every motherfrakker in the galaxy. Accept no substitutes. In other words the Korath.
The exact percentage of available should be another racial trait percentage, and raisable by techs or anomalies. The reason why I suggested that it should depend on approval, is to make it represent the number of professional/volunteer soldiers you can get (the number of people willing to fight and die for their empire, which would depend on morale), rather than the number you can forcibly recruit from the populace. Of course, yo
What happened to the good's extra defences?
can someone tell me how to use space miners and spore ships plz? i cant seem to get how to mine astroids with those and the manual dont help either... If mining asteroids, use a space miner and move it to the asteroid field you wish to mine. The space miner will automatically begin building a mining base. As for spore ships, just select the spore ship and move it to the planet you wish to intoxify.
Its the same one that gives you the galagtic guide book Nad thanks for the answers. Your very welcome.
The nano-recorder research bonus says that it's civ-wide, and that's been my experience though I haven't actually paid that much attention to it. What is the tech that unlocks them, anyway? I seem always to forget it. It's either Sensors III or Sensors IV.
Heres a quick question: The 10% research bonus yu get for the nano recorders; is that for the planets its built on or for your entire civilization? heres another, has anyone ever confirmed that using the Yor (max enemy speed = 3)and putting both of the -1 speed reduction modules on you military star bases actually makes all other races speed 1pc/week while in the influence of both the Yor's race and the military star base? Do those modules refer to "
I like the Yor. Exterminate all organic lifeforms!
...and another was Terror Star, which interested me because they were never used in the game. In case you don't know, Terror Stars are from GalCiv 1. They are supposed to be a super starbase that could move 1 parsec per turn, and blow up planets,... or so I've read. I have yet to play GalCiv 1. I've played Galatic Civilizations 1. The Terro Star can destroy an entire star system by destroying its sun.
P.S.: If by some weird twist of fate Stardock does use your ideas, and I look up from making snow angels with Satan in hell because and you do laugh at me and spit in my face, I'm going to drop a nuclear bomb on you, which makes about as much sense from an internet perspective, Mister E-Tough-Guy. That's a little harsh.
To themocaw: Look, these are just ideas, okay? Besides, lots of people like them (except you). If Frogboy puts these ideas in the next GCII expansion, I'll laugh at you and spit in your face. I may sound snotty, but you were snide Good come back! Anyway, how do you like this? These are my ideas for the two new super abilities. Super Builder: Social Production Bonus +60 Military Production Bonus +30<b
No limit on max trade routes? Then why bother researching advanced trade? That +10 trade bonus? Gimme a break, not worth the time and effort. You still would have to research trade, advanced trade, ect. to get more trade routes.
I like the idea of having new races. I also like the fact that they are not humanoid. The game already has enough humanoid races.I would like to play the campaign and see how it works out. I've completed the Dread Lords campaign but not the Dark Avatar campaign. What about a tech that would let you clean up toxic planets? That way you could repair planets that have been toxified by the Korath (or any one with the Super Annilator ability.) On a side note have you ever played Gal
I've come up with a few more ideas. No limit on max trade routes. The United Planets should be somewhat improved. More issues. 1.Galactic Trade Federation-Permenitly increases max trade routes by 35. 2.Galactic Trade Commision-Permenitly increases trade income by 50%. 3.Tourist Promotion Program-Permenitly increases tourist income by 40%. 4.Monopoly Prohibition-Permently prevents any player from not sharing a trade good with at least one other empire.<b
I love this idea of the Alternate Universe. Entering the Alternate Universe whould dangerous. I think a good idea whould be that a ship has a 35% chance of being destroyed as it enters the Alternate Univerese. A good idea for the Alternate Univerese could be that a ship could speed, sensor range or ship range could temperarily increse or decrese due to the Alternate Univerese's unstable nature. Another good idea for the Alternate Universe that time may often travels ba
I like your ideas. I would like to also see: The addition of more random events and ethic choices The addition of stellar terrain (black holes, nebulas, ect.) More realistic interstellar distances The addition of more types of stars (neutron stars, black dwarfs, white dwarfs, ect.) Each star can have more than five planets around them (I suggest a max of nine or ten) More types of planets (Volcanic, Tropical, ect.) The ability to colon
