"I never did understand this, but why is it when I private message someone you have to re-type in a validation code in random letters and numbers that they give you where it is very hard to make out the letters?? Is this so drunk people or people with visual disorders don't post???" What? You lost me.

"I really dont like the Solar System destroyers. Please tell me there will be some sort of balance factor." Why are people so worried about balance? I've unbalanced Dark Avatar and find it really fun.
Yeah! I have been waiting for the Terror Star's return and larger galaxys for a while now. Uniqe weapons, techs, improvements, ect. for each race are very welcomed by me. No longer is each race to similar to one another. Does the title indecate that the Arnor will be in this one? I can't wait for it to come out.
I hope so.
Aaaaaannnd when i go to talk to the klingon, instead of their race moviw thing, i get a static picture of the Arcainian(or whatever they are called...) help? Ah, good, I'm not the only person that experienced the Klingons as Arceans problem. I was told at the time that it was probably a user error, rather than a problem with the mod. Glad to see that is not the case. I'm getting that problem as well.
I don't think hangers would really add anything to the game except more coolness. But It would be nice if you could fleet ships with a base so the bases weapons would be more meaningful early on. Terror Stars fall into the smae category as carriers... not something the devs wanted in the game. I was disponted with Gal Civ II for a while I realized it didn't have the Terror Star. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Sad.gif" bord
When I'm looking over the research tree I noticed that Xeno Economics is missing the Economic Capital under "New Improvements". My tech screen for Xeno Economics shows: New Abilities: Economics: +10 NEW IMPROVEMENTS: Adv. Market Center FUTURE TECHS: Xeno Trade Centers Thats because the Economic Capital is availible from the trade tech.
The title says it all. Simcity 5 is supposed to be released on October 7. Of course, there might be delays, but tell me what you think Etrius I saw that it was coming out in November. Why do you think City Life is that bad? It looks more interseting than the new Sim City.
I have noticed since I updated to 1.61, there are rarely any spies.
I have noticed some of the things you have posted. It would be nice to have more than tweleve trade routes. I like the idea of the color codeing. It is easy to find things when they are color coaded.
I remember in the manual it says that ships repair all the time. They repair the slowest while moving, faster when stationary and twice as fast in orbit of a planet.
I never get any of the ships. I research the appropret tech but they do not appear. Also when I attacked a starbase, the game crashed. Can you help me?
I think if you look in the race file, you can set the number of customization points.
The only time I have ever had this event, I couldn't find their homeworld. I didn't even see a single Dread Lord ship.
The first game I won was about a 46 year game. I went for an alliance victory. One of the races would simply not ally with me so my alliance had to wipe them out.
So One is an Altarian?
The three types of weapons are the Beam Weapons (Laser,Phasor,Disruptor...) Missile Weapons (Stinger, Harpoon Missile...) and the Mass Driver Weapons (Mini-Balls, Railgun...). It could be the mission. Sometimes, certain techs are restricted. BTW ,which campaign is it? Dread Lords or Dark Avater?
Just hit the destroy colony button in the planet interface. You can even do this to your homeworld.
I have 1.0.6.5. I don't know if I have up-to-date DX Runtime.
It was a very interesting story. To bad everybody died.
I can gt everything to work except the map editor. lol (thats the only thing I want neway) Whenever I click on the "new map" option nothing happens. I can get the scenario/campaign editors to work tho, but like I said I dont even want those. Dan. I get the same problem. When I look in the debug file, there is nothing in it.
I've noticed in many games that the Drengin never attempt to cure themselves. Usually only the tech happy civs will actually ever do so. Their attitude never changes though. So even if you cajole them into an alliance because of the disease, and then gift them the cure, they will eventually rise up against you if you're a Good civ. What do you expect? They are evil S.O.B.s.
My stratagy is to continuasly by new colony ships from my homeworld and send them to as many planets I can grab. This usally brings me into debt for a while but itt works out for me in the long run.
If you just installed the game, sometimes a reboot is required - even if you were not prompted to do so. And sometimes setting the game resolution to match your desktop resolution - if it is not already - can help. It's also a good idea to have the correct monitor driver installed. The generic drivers Windows installs by default sometimes do not handle the resolutions so well, especially if yours is a widescreen monitor. I restarted the compute
