What part is not showing? Do you have a translucency attribute set when it should not be? If your images that you're adding are bitmaps, make sure the translucensy is NOT checked. If you could put a screenshot of the problem in your profile on this site, it sure would help.

arrielle I made a boo boo. DO NOT check the transluceny or the transparency fot the log off buttons . Leave them both unchecked. The author used a bmp image instead of a tga., and neither needs to be checked. However DO uncheck the translucensy for the log off bar as i described above. One you uncheck it, the skin should work fine
No aarielle, you are in the wrong section.(but you're close) You don't want the buttons, you want the bar. The buttons are supposed to have the translucency set. On the left , just above where you are in SS. Click on "bottom bar", and then un-check the translucency attribute on the right hand side.
I have left a comment for the author. He is probably not even aware of the glich. Keep checking back in the comment section of the skin and if he is willing to fix it and update it with the fix, you can always re-download it the skin. However , for something so minor that most people can correct themselves with skin studio, he may not opt to fix it unless he was going to make other changes to it. I just downloaded Christmas2 and looked at it in skin studio. The author has the translucency checked for the log off section on the start menu. If you have skin studio, open up the skin and uncheck the translucent attribute and all should work fine.

I emailed ice creamer a couple of days ago, (on behalf of everyone here) and told him that (at least I) did not give permission to have my skins posted on that site and demanded that my skins be removed. I never heard from the guy, but all my skins have been removed. At least all my skins with his name attached to them. I didnt notice another one at first, "xp nurse" that has red suns' name attached to it. That one still remains. I think I'll email him next. Maybe if everyone emails

Oh, I jst read your question again. When new icons are added, youll probably have to manually drag them to the spot you want them initially, but after that, they should stay there.
I can answer this for you. Right click on a blank spot on your desktop, and choose "arrange icons by", then make sue "auto arrange" is UNCHECKED. You should now be able to arrange your icons the way you want, and they should stay that way. The only problem with not using "auto arrange" is that they may not be in neat little collums. Youll need to neatly arrange them manually.

I think a lot of stores have a no return policy on software, but if you go back to or call the store where you bought it and explain the problem I bet you they will let you exchange it for the correct one. If I were you, I would do this before I started playing around with other additions or adjustments to have it the way you want it.
I think it is implied, but I would like to know for sure also.

Are you talking about the min, max, restore, and close buttons? Skin studio has default images of these. Open the default images in PSP and tinker with them till you get the look you want. Then save them. To make a round button , make a circle in each frame, then fill the rest of the frame with either a backgound color or magic pink. Then (in skin studio) adjust the margins untill the images look like round circles.

can you put a screenshot of your problem in your user profile? (where your desktop image is). It sure would help. Not being able to see it, my guess right off the bat would be the frame count is wrong. Most button sets have five frames: normal , pressed, disabled , mouseover, default. If you want 10 images, you need to set the frame count to 10. I hope I'm understanding you correctly

Krulo did you check the "newest additions" list on the 15th? It should have been there then. After that it's pushed down the list, and the list only holds the 50 newest additions.
