Some of these actually seem to be really good ideas. I like teh idea of super installations and expanded tech tree's. And I've always been an advocate of adding a "Planetary Invasion" option into the game. (In fact I'm creating backstories for each of the three factions respective ground forces, and constructing tech trees for each Army.) I also approve of the idea of being able to do more with your planet. Although adding in a "Sims World." as you put it might be pushing it a tad to much.Otherw

Bombers would be a viable space tactic if you think about it. One: Their a lot more maneuverable than larger Capital ships. Two: It can carry a payload (ie. Torpedoes, Missiles, Tac. Nukes.) that would seriously put a dent in an enemy warship. Three: An enemy ship would have a hell of a time hitting one it it’s not equipped with specialized Anti-Aircraft batteries or missiles Four: You could build a hell of a lot more of them than you could a Cruiser or Dreadnought, and their

I heard that it's because of what they did. Gene tampering, mind altering drugs, artificial implants, social collectivization and who knows what else. The Trader's believed that they shouldn’t play god and tamper with the human body and it seems as if every other human world had these taboo's when they were found and brought into the Trade Order. When they discovered the Advent and discovered the various aspects of there culture and attitudes they were shocked. There oldest and deepest taboos, a

I would like Planetary Invasions. For one thing it would sure mix it up instead of "Jump into system A, Nuke the crud out of it then head towards system B." rinse lather repeat. I would love to send in some fragging TEC Marines on some hot drop onto some Advent homeworld. Then when you add a Tech tree for the "PBI" things get sweeter.

Eh wouldnt someone notice any one of the above interstellar phenomena occuring? Giant hole in space, the destruction of the universe,or a super energy blast? No no read teh manuel they mention SOMETHING chasing them. It's one of there ships that mentions something about it.

I've already said this. It's there wives. But I'VE GOT A NEW THEORY!!!! The female half the species entered in the Red rage. (he he Blood Angels pun.)And never went back to normal. Thus hunting there male counterparts to the ends of the universe to nag them to death.

Theres no need to apologize plenty of people I believe have posted this before. And no my idea wouldnt change that much coding. My idea that I've posted would be easy and simple. Streamlining teh proscess of taking over a world. All it would need is a new ship, two new tech trees,a cool circular health bar that denotes your armies and the enemy armies health and some other real minor stuff. It's all quite doable and wouldnt over complicate things.

Thank you. It was inspired by the Final War in teh Bolo series. It makes certian sense. The Final War was fought between the Human Concordiat and the Melconian Empire. The war quickly escalted when the Melconians nuked a Human colony. The humans did the same soon. Each side was hell bent on blowing up the other side. Both sides threw planet cracking nukes, Insidious Biological and chemical weapons.Entire worlds became unhibitable. Even Earth was nuked. Soon a Final batle was fought with what wa

It's simple really you keep fighting until whatever Nations were there before have been destroyed. And with only a few survivng worlds being all thta was left of these vast interstellar nations. These few survivng worlds would be quite isolated as Satrships would be either rust buckets or heavily damaged from the war. The survivors would have to rely on primitive farming methods at best to survive. Hunter gatherer at worst. It would take many many years for these humans to get enough Tech just to

I got no other ideas for the night maybe tomorrow. Oh yes and there very good. Sadly you can only get the old books from Amazon. But they carry a few at Barnes and Noble. They are very good reads. Ahhhh. If they added Bolo units then they could fight dirtside and shoot up orbiting ships. It would be freaking sweet.

Well Powered Armor are not simply "robots" there suits of armor packed to the brim with artifical muscles and the like. Remeber you cant see the fighting these are just buffs that are represented by amount of troops and how fast the clock is moving and how they would react to certain criteria. So for the T.E.C. we give them Tech such as Robotic Wartanks,Powered Armor, Media Coverage that gives a bonus to Culture rate(Think like those guys from Starship Troopers.) Media Censorship. Mass

No it's not read the game manual. In there backstory they mention a lot about interstellar wars being the prime reason the Advent first sought out an isolated world. They never mention Earth. And plus yes we tend to record material. But what we see today about our ancient history is mostly a mere fraction of what has actually been recorded. Records are lost to the ages, through wars, diasporas and accidents. In fact heres a quote from the manual "The origins of the Advent began well before
