I also have no problems running games. I unload windowsblinds and several other programs when I play just for my own sake but I've played with wb loaded with not problems, I also stopped using CursorXP some time ago because it was causing conflicts with the game pointers. Make sure that the products you dl'ed are ok, if they are then un-install each program and re-install each one separatelly (rebooting after each install) also remove them from the registery (if your comfortable with that).

Well then it must be contagious because I have been wondering about the feature skin for a while now. I've been thinking man these skins have been kind of old (in skinning terms) lately, what's up with that? I don't know what you said Z71 but from some of the comments above it sounds like the same so you were not alone. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Congrats.gif" border=0 align="absmiddle
They should all work. It's worth upgrading
I am the original author. I'll have to get with admin then. Thanks.
Here's what I see. WWW Link
I've tried every which way and to find that but I can't find it.
Congrats on the grand child.
Happy belated Birthday
I've cleaned out my cookies and cache but I still do not have the ability to delete or even edit the way you have shown me. I order for me to edit I have to go to my skins and then click on the edit next to the skin. So what the heck is going on?
Quentin94 I don't see what your're talking about. Can you show me?
How do I delete a submitted item from the site? There was a way to do so before so now what can be done? Sorry if this has already been asked (haven't found it yet).
Make sure you add the code to both the Shutdown and Logoff sections.
Many Thanks for the help Shawn this works great like Fuzzy I'm off modifing.
It's up to the skinner if they want to skin it. I've done it with and w/o.
This is a good idea and if skinners want to do this then great. I have no problem paying for a great quality skin/suite. This issue is always going to have the yea and nays until either the yea or neys win. If a good earning market opens up with paid skins, suites icons etc.. then the yeas will win (money is hard to beat) but as long as there are skinners out there who have the time and financal resources to m
I haven't noticed all the problems listed above but I haven't really checked out the new site but there is one thing I noticed and that is your internet time display at the bottom r side of the page. For one could you make it civilian time not military. Not every body knows it also your time is one hour and 5 mins fast.
This is just one of the limits and or problems of SkinStudio when applying the per-pixel images and buttons you lose the Window Frames and buttons all together. I hope that some of these things get straightened out soon. Makes for a lot of extra work when it's not needed.
Nav...I'm in total agreement...I, too, need lots of pictures. Please correct me if I am wrong, but many beginners don't have a background in programming and /or graphic design. I know I sure didn't! Had never even opened up photoshop before I got the bug to make my own skins and the limits of my programming skills was way, way,
Many Thanks Happy Holidays
Ouch Citizen Larry Tomczek that was a bit deep for a non-skinner. Thanks skinhit you hit the nail on the button. Now comes the hard part, making the adjustments. I'll wait to see if any changes come about from this before I say anything. Knowing the problems is one thing fixxing
Very well done Jafo I do believe you just closed this thread I stayed away from making WB skin also because of SkinStudio when I tried working on it I would get really frustrated with it. Then just like a few commenters to this thread I dove into it. I started (WB4) by just creating a skin (stock one) and I started by making each image one by one and seeing what does wh
Thanks Phoon (I'm not good at writing stuff I do much better face to face) you hit the nail on the button. I don't mind paying for a great quality suite/skin etc. I've bought quite a few and will probably continue to do so, maybe WC can do like Deviantart does and give the skin submitter the option to put their work up for sale or not. Just a thought I know as I gain ex
Frogboy even though your point is true ya didn't have to put it that way . cypermessiah brings up a good point: (sorry couldn't figure out the quote thing.) "From the sounds of the article, i get the feeling that the push towards future skinning is going to be focussed on Vista. I for one, due to price and software/hardware compatability issues and demands
I also believe that part of the reason of the decline of skinners is that skinning is time consuming and most skinners skin on their free time which for most people is not much. All have gotten older, some have setteled down with families or started jobs/school etc. so the time is not there anymore. I don't know if being able to sell your stuff will bring skinners back or not only time will tell. I've always believed that since there are free skins s
In SkinStudio open up the skin and in the Left hand window choose "Window Borders-click on Titlebar Buttons - Free form" Then in the Right hand window you will see a section to turn off sounds for the buttons. Another way to turn off all sounds is to open up Control Panel and click on the Sounds and Audio Devices under the Sounds Tab you can change the sounds or turn them off individually or all of them at once. Hop this helps.
