Using Skin Studio or Icon Developer in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

Is anybody else having trouble re-coloring icon packages using either Skin Studio Pro or Icon Developer? Since the updates to these programs I am having problems re-coloring. I follow all the steps that I did before the updates but now when I finish doing them the programs seem to lock up after I get the message that all icons have been done and when I do get them re-colered I can't use them. I have a file with all the re-colored icons but Icon Packager does pick them up. Help. <img src="http://

I have the same problem of not being able to add screens. I un-installed it and re-installed but I still have the same problem. I tried taking one of my BootXP skins and copied one of the scripts changing the name but all I get is a blank screen. Any suggestions?

Can any one give me the right numbers to get the progress bar in the slot? I also noticed a speed up of the progress bar. I used the numbers from the readme tx and my progress bar is at the top while the slot is in the middle. [email protected]. Thanks.

People, People this is getting way out of hand and even more complicated (for me). I know how to edit the sysmetrix skin by changing things that I can. I do so to every skin I use. All I wanted to know (and maybe this is my fault) is there any way other than editting the bitmap to remove the recycle bin. There isn't from what I can tell. Is anybody elsae having trouble with the new version of OD? When I have OD enabled my system slows down and gets sluggish. I have a Gig of ram so that's not the problem. When I shutdown OD the problem stops so I know it's OD.

Is any body else having problems like your system slowing down? I know it's OD because while I had it running everthing slowed down. Now I have a gig of memory so that's not a problem. When I shutdown OD the problem stopped. Is there any way of getting the last OD? I looked at the site but they only have the 99a version. Thanks Tiggz. I may not know how to edit bmg but I know better than to do what ChasUGC mentioned. The recycle bin has the option of deleting things permenitlly and that's what I do. I also remove the icon from my desktop with Power Toys XP. Here is a great example of how discussions become off track and the person posting a need for help is lost. I already knew that I would have to edit the bmg but I don't know how. So instead of getting the help on how I get a lecture on how not to screw with m

That's what I thought and that leaves me out cold. I don't know how to edit an image. I'm trying to figure things out but it's to confusing for me. I guess I'm stuck with the way the skins are until I can create my own.
