Drengin, Super Dominator Ability, declare war. That's how that ability works - it gives you countless, nearly useless cannon fodder ships to throw at your opponent.

Congratulations and welcome to the club! And you see more explicit material in everyday primetime commercials. ;)

Yes, I'm also hoping that we get at least fully functional medals sometime...
My guess also would be to look more closely at the sliders. Outproducing the Thalans also can be difficult, due to their Super Ability. Try playing against different opponents first, if you find you fall behind too often, or turn abilities off. Btw. The AI does not cheat, at least at anything below challenging.
After using WB6 for quite a while now, I figured I might give SkinStudio a go myself. 15 Euro is hardly much for the power to possibly create my own skins. ;) One question, though - are there any tutorial for SKS and GIMP as a graphic suite? Or must-have GIMP plugins for easier development? The tutorials I found after a quick look at the SkinStudio page are all working with Photoshop.
It's most definitely alive! I haven't actually seen the Vanir tech tree yet, but what I've seen of the other races is well worth the wait. ;)
Judging W7-64 performance based on XP-32 IS a bit ... well ... optimistic. :P Best bet would be to send debug logs etc. to Stardock so they can start working on full compatibility.
Is ObjectDock still being worked on? The pay-version, I mean? In the latest beta is still the bug with tray-icons not appearing under Vista and I was too lazy to roll back to last release in hopes of a quick fix. ;)

This shortcut does not work unless cheats are enabled, sadly. :( SD, please, make this an option or generally available 'hidden' feature?!
Netbooks should be perfect for running roguelikes, though.
The question is: Why is this available only through cheat-codes? It should be a normal option - I surely would like to use that, but enabling cheats makes MV games 'go boom'. :(
Cool. Glad to hear that more companies are starting to sign on. Awesome work, Impulse guys! Now you just need to convince Shrapnelgames to publish their catalogue via Impulse as well if you guys have ideas for more companies, it's cool to tell us at Stardock about it, but you should also go to the forums of those companies and let them know about Impulse there too. I can't hurt. The more we spread the word
whats with some of these nonsense about not being able to game on a notebook.
No one's talking about notebooks. The question was if gaming on a netbook is possible. To which I'd say: Definitely not.
I think more / faster RAM on the video card would be more important on high resolutions than 'normal' RAM? Concerning OC: If you don't know what you're doing there, don't. Especially as a quadcore should be enough to run pretty much anything on the market without endangering your hardware and voiding any warranties. ;)
Even if your current user is an admin, you may have to explicitly tell Vista to 'launch as administrator' or some such, if you haven't disabled UAC.
Your bases are belong to us!
Near miss. :P
Have you tried running the setup with Admin privileges?
Midnightrunner: Simply stunning designs! How I miss those good old times of Wing Commander... *sigh* PS: Any chance for a ship-pack on the library? :D
Very cool! Now you just need to convince Shrapnelgames to publish their catalogue via Impulse as well. I think many here would appreciate a downloadable version of Dominions 3, for example. :D
GalCiv2 is simply too buggy in various aspects.
Are you sure you're playing the latest 2.02 version? Because I haven't seen any gamebreaking bugs or CTDs for quite a while. The forum speed varies, but generally seems quite fast on my end at least. And as the reply-editor is WYSIWYG, I haven't missed preview mode either. Although I have to admit, Impulse download speeds sometime ARE excruciatingly slow, down to under 100 kB/s. <
Hm. In DA, there are multiple prerequisites for the pre-built ships. You might not only need new weapons, but engines, sensors, miniaturisation, ... Also, those predesigned ships simply are inferior, that's why they got cut in TA. If you don't want to spend much time in the designer, you can always just double-click the components and they will get added in a more or less sensible place.
I don't think so, they can appear quite early. But the DA precursors ARE weaker than their TA counterparts. (Maybe because they can be found earlier?)
