I see that the Padishah Emperor is a potent warrior, and not just an empty figurehead, like some emperors... The Kzinti show honor to those who lead from the front of the battle! Perhaps you were born with the heart of a Kzinti? ;) You feel the juices of conquest flowing in your liver as do my ferocious t'kzintar. When we hunt you down we will honor your flesh with a great feast for our Conquest Heroes! <img src="h
Ahh look...the Furry little kitten is back everybody!!! And Damn!!! It has fleas!!! Seriously though, your support for the GalCiv2, the MV, MVL, etc etc, is a great asset to the game and this site. It's very much appreciated. Here, here!!!
Those arent flea

Congratulations to our newest Hero (Senator), Cmoga! :CONGRAT: Bring out the food animals and unleash the Kzinretts! Also please welcome our newest memebers, Dyret and Ledarious. May you honor the Empire with countless victories! :D Sentient species taste better...</I
Well Mumble, if you want to truly be suportive of all the empires, you are going to have to buy a few more serial numbers so you can have one character in every empire. Then you have to make sure you post a mega-score for each one! ;) Seriously though, your support for the GalCiv2, the MV, MVL, etc etc, is a great asset to the game and this site. It's very much appreciated. <img src="http://www.mypicshare.com
You've got 22k to go to surpass him....going to take a good effort to do that. I play quick 50-60k games with him frequently. With Hraak-Riit, my 150k point game is 90% complete, so he will soon rise above you once again! ;) Sentient species taste better...
That sounds both reasonable and fair. Sentient species taste better...
Hi Iztok, Just take a screenshot of the victory screen and post it in this thread. Other people have had trouble submiting in the past, so this is an acceptable way to submit your game. Sentient species taste better...
I absolutely loved Ultima IV. I spent many, many, MANY hours playing it. I loved that the gaming environment seemed absolutely gigantic. You could literally sail around the world. Okay, yeah, the graphics (especially by today's standards) sucked, but what a rich game.
Yeah, the huge Ultima world was always one of the best aspects of those games. I think it was in Ultima III, you could sneak around the side of Lord British' castle inside the moat, commandeer a pirate shi
I had assumed the same as Mumble & Dystopic, that submission time wouldn't merely be based on submission order, but upon actual submission time-stamp. I like the time-stamp method much better, as it is much more precise in measuring the speed at which games are submitted. Senti
As an addendum we should further discuss the Captains right to submit a game for a teammate once the round is over. There certainly is some reasonable argument for allowing this, it's just that in the middle of a round isn't the time to begin such a discussion. In the case of a single game like all three cases we currently have it's basically a no-brainer. There's no choice and no one could reasonably argue that the players intent would be other than to submit the only game they
Hopefully people find this list of use.
Exceptionally helpful....thanks Mumble. :) Sentient species taste better...
I'm happy with this, Jeff's game must be left to the last possible minute to be included so as to give him time to log in and submit himself, although i see this an unlikely event at this point.
Ah yes, that does make sense. Thanks for explaining the reasoning behind it. I guess nobody has heard from him at all...doesnt bode well. <img src="http://www.mypicshare.com/thumbs/20070803/v
PlayJeff is still MIA, so as captain of Team D I am submitting this game for him: We really don't have rules defined in the rules thread relating to this however we basically had quite a bit of discussion of this in the AltMeta MVL thread. My understanding of the discussions and agreements that we had of this in the AltMeta MVL thread is that this is perfectly acceptable. However, one point of order is that for purposes of submission time this n

Another great series wwhich ended with a horrible failure was Ultima. I started playing that all the way from Ultima II (on my Apple IIE!), but the last one was so buggy that it was totally unplayable. I think III through VI were the best incarnations of that game. Sentient sp
Another conquest posted and the Hitchhikers fall to within 34k of our grasp. Soon the #11 rank will be ours and then the Colonial Fleet must be vanquished. Another Kzinti Hide adorns the Great Hall of the Padishah Emperor as Hraak-Riit (Aka Cat Gut Gumbo) is displaced from the 37th rank. It seems the road back to the Galactic Map is paved with Kzinti bones. The Spice Must Flow
Congrats Vukasika, but Hraak-Ritt will rise above you again soon. ;) I've got a game
Hitchhikers, do not the juices of conquest still flow in your livers, or have they dried up and shriveled away? I dont believe we ate too many of you, but during feeding-frenzy, the memories do get a bit blurred. ;) FireBender is an honorable warrior...will the Hitchhikers heed his call to battle? Only time will tell. We will try not to devour too many of you while this unknown destiny plays out. <img src="http://w
That said, I am getting some use out of MOO3 -- I use some of the race pics for my custom races in DA. So it wasn't a complete waste of money!
It was very disapointing, but at least you're using it in some way, hehe...
Sad too because Moo2 was one of the best space 3x (explore, exploit, conquer) strategies of all times. I have high hopes for a Moo4 or GalCiv3 but for right now I'm looking forward to the next expansion for GC2.
It'

Today we have three new warriors joining the Kzinti. Welcome to Jhart, PhadeDarken, and Trscroggs! :D
Ah Mondays. I was thinking last night about my days playing Civs 1-2 and MOO 1-2 back in college and grad school like some sort of crack addict, in some cases blowing off class and pulling all-nighters gaming. If I remember correctly, I think I actually broke up with a girlfriend because I decided that I'd rather be playing more Civ (I'm SURE there had to be other reasons... Rig
Excellent post KP! Chinese food? I'd rather taste some Orca. Sentient species DO taste better.
Thanks :) I dont think too many people outside the Empire pay attention to the little things I've written, but I know that some people enjoy them. Seafood yes, I can already taste it... I see you submitted your highest-scoring game yet today. Nice boost boost for your character and the Empire! :CONGRAT: I finished one small-ish game today, and I
We respect the Fremen warriors....for a non-Kzin they are quite fierce. But they are too dry & stringy for our tastes. And all that spice makes us sneeze! ;) Sentient species taste better...
