I also did a test on older Windows 11 23H2, without Fences running at all and I see the same behavior refer my short video below. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
If your ObjectDesktop subscription still active you should be able to download, install and activate Fences 6, by using Object Desktop activation key. It is best to remove Fences 5 first, and reboot the system before installing Fences 6 and reboot again. Fences 6 will use back your configuration for Fences 5. Unless, you choose to remove setting while uninstalling Fences 5. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
Strangely, as Fences Dev Lead mentioned above I can see the issue still appear even after I disable Fences, so it is perhaps Windows behavior. Refer to my short video below. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant

[quote who="growe12" reply="3993563" id="541656"] Deskscapes 2026 fails to function at all for me. The animated wallpaper I was using with Deskscapes 11 became a still image with Deskscapes 2026. When I tried multiple times to change to a different wallpaper, I only got a black screen. Rebooting the computer or uninstalling both versions and reinstalling Deskscapes 2026 (with a reboot) didn't change anything. Nor did following advice from a forum member to try the purge and reinstall
