Unfortunately, you have a dell, so the motherboard mount is as likely as not to be proprietary and hard to change. You'll probably have some difficulties and will need to manually register the keys, but you should be fine otherwise. I'm not sure about that, though. If they were declared gifts and the shipping email was done right (as in made the recipient's email) then you'll be fine. Which email got the confirmation email?
Still, it would be good to not need a download for this on a per-map basis, but it's not close to essential.
I agree with that policy, because this prevents the "beta as demo" crowd from thinking the beta is a demo when in fact it is very far from being one and spreading bad word of mouth. It also makes sure that everybody in the beta understands and is serious about working on it.

Having it included so you don't have to hunt the mod down would be very good, but modding support would also be excellent.

I'm lucky, I just got to college, and the highest I've had my download speed was about 7 MB/s, so I have the luxury of not caring. Much more important is the question of when the download will start.

Umm, I'm willing to bet that your motherboard has the old socket type. Are you using a stock heatsink? If so, is it held on by two large lever clamps? If so, you've got the old socket type. If not, if you're comfortable taking the processor out for a second, see if the processor has pins on its back. If so, it's the old socket.

It probably is. Impulse is stardock's show, so they should be setting the restrictions.
And stardock's attitude is why I bought sins and demigod on faith. I usually never do it, but stardock has earned 50 dollars just for being awesome (and for it not being 50 dollars), and until I am truly unhappy with a game, I will keep preordering.
Too true. The reason they all look like they're on the godly end of the spectrum is that they need to be. A person seems bland and your eye will slide right past it, but with the visual hooks the demigods have, they stand out really well.
I know, but considering you guys seem to be charging based on your experiences with sins, the pricing is currently as if the box would weigh three pounds. You're right, I am speculating a bit, but I had my reasons.
Be warned, the S+H is going to be intense if you want the box, the digital version is likely to be way more affordable than the box. The collectors edition is likely to weigh 3 or so pounds, and the shipping for sins CE boxes hit 20 dollars for international shipping.
You had to upgrade the RAM? You had DDR 1!? No wonder your computer got faster, that's also a big upgrade. And yes, $410 is a good deal to get your computer that big an upgrade.

I was proposing an alternative, but my grammar sucked. Sorry. The problem with pushing their waves further apart is that depending on the implementation of the UI, the other team may not easily be able to tell if they have been hit with this kind of thing. If they have a timer, then that's fine, but otherwise, it's better to have that sort of effect only affect the team that buys it, because they know about it. It would be rather unpopular to have peoples' wave respawn slow down unexpectedly,
