I'd like to thank you guys for making sins so easy to shamelessly promote. I have found through the powers of science that whenever anybody tapes together multiple games in a wish, they are in fact asking for sins, and I notify them of such. As of yet, I have yet to see anybody refute this obvious wisdom once I showed them the copy on my laptop except for a poor unenlightened soul whose add got in the way. Yeah, I'm going to south america to be a sins missionary if I keep it up, aren't I? But th

good spoiler, but mine were more aerodynamic

unknown pwn. he has offended our customs of randomness and off topicdom. We must punish him until the 1st eets and tge randomness brigade gets here!
only the pink space ponies decide who is of topic! eets eets eets' beets! and they have deemed by the standards of this forum, that this post (as of now) is off topic! Okay, on topic, THAT is off topic here. Anyway, the computer should be able to build increasingly good defenses as difficulty goes up, in addition to managing better. i.e. unsupported turrets on one of many incoming phase lanes with a hangar on the other side of the system on easy, turr
most excellent. I'd wish other companies were so friendly to gaming on limited resources and while mobile as you guys are.
I hope these graphics are brilliant, but I'm worried I'll feel dirty after running low settings on my laptop.
fins provide leverage for the invisible maneuvering thrusters, duh. But why not use thrust vectoring?
spell Czech is clearly the problem. I too have had problems with the affects of this deice. Sleep reprobation is also probably a cause of the few errors. also, @ thrown, it's Gaelic.
World in Conflict (it is like playing Red Storm Rising novel by Tom Clancy)
Yeah, I know what you mean, I read the book and played the game at the same time, and between that and sleep deprivation, was halfway convinced the russians were invading. Also, with an epic enough feel to the game, stuff such as galciv and hopefully sins can generate their own story.
And such an effectively placed set of defenses only Ron knocks on people's front gates!
and that's why i place my defenses on the back door! *places defenses around front door and waits for "flanking" attacks*
considering the structure of many english phrases, the concept of 'building up' is pretty ingrained in many peoples' minds. Also, most things that are built are buildings and the like, which are built from top to bottom. However, I don't accept any of these as valid answers for what is most likely a case of inertia. Imagine how odd it would feel if galciv's tech tree was flipped to being top/bottom. I think that the left/right dynamic is perfectly understandable to people used to reading things
I'd also love a texture pack with more detail than my monitor can display, that'd be awesome! nah, my monitor'll cover it, and the detail will be greatly appreciated
very nice
yes, I am, and very proud of it until I can teach myself how to do the graphics thiny people keep mentioning (next term of compsci should teach me that nicely). I also have a question about a feature I'm not sure would be implementable. For a mod, we want to treat some ships like squadrons (i.e. a capitol ship has a set, non level-dependent number of them, and carries them through phase space). However, we want to be able to have these carried frigates be in addition to a standard, leve
Cant vote more then once anymore. The only way would be to use an IP proxy and randomize it and that would frankly take way to much time.
AOL. it does exactly that. it gives you a random ip every time you open a page or something like that. All i know is that you randomly get notices on wikipedia based on your ip for stuff other people have done. So likely there's some retarded aoler out there ruining the vote. And yes, they shou
Thank you very much, that's a big help, even though the texturing link is really this one: [link="http://discovery.scifi-art.com/texturing/index.html"]WWW Link[/link] Now I just need to get me a 3Ds fund...
Maybe the person who spammed votes beyond all reasonable doubt wasn't trying to help sins, but was trying to get it reset because of some misplaced sense of jealousy
nah, i checked and for a bit there were about 6 votes/sec coming in, which was just ridiculous
right, refreshing doesn't revote unless you do some very complicated stupidity to get to the page, and I think that I was mistaken earlier. It just seemed that all three times i hit F5 in rapid succession the votes went up by one, but I checked later and it didn't work, so it can't have been me. Now i can stop feeling like a horrible person. Hooray!
rail gun!
nope, not me. I did notice that once sins got past 600, there was a ridiculous number of votes a second, way more than my 5-10 refreshes could have done
yeah, this seriously got out of hand. I've stopped refreshing to watch the thing go because I think it was glitching and counting votes for some reason, so that should help
just passed fallout 3 at about 720
