Hi I am the OP, and I am still having the problem, although I performed all the steps suggested bu Basj, espec. the clean boot etc., but the problem persists anyway. Luckily I can make the lowest items somewhat visible by scrolling back in upper direction, but this shouldn't be the way to go. If you can find a new, more structural solution that would be great. Update: so, I just found out, it is not only with Total commander. It is also with the filemanager XYplorer (paid version, but I think that doesn't make a difference). In Directory Opus (another file manager, once again, paid version), it is fine but that is only because there, the context menu is scrollable with the mouse, so even the lowest 'off-screen' items show normally then. Yes, I think you are right about a probable compatability issue. The thing is, I use (the paid version of) Total commander for more than 15 years now, and I am really hooked to it, but I'll consider to put it on an ignore list in WB like you suggest. Thanks Basj, Arnoud
P.s. you gotta be kidding me... I just found out that the problem only exists in Total Commander (last version/update 9.51), not in Windows explorer, not in XYplorer, and not in Directory Opus (these are the file managers I cross-use). I never thought of the possibility that that would make a difference. But it is still the case that disabling the WB service in a clean boot session, will solve the issue, so, in Total Commander as well. Best, Arnoud

Basj, I just realized that in your demonstration (video), you didn't test the file/folder context menu, so, from within windows explorer, total commander (which I use frequently) etc. That is where I have my problem (realize that windows 10 has 6 different context menu categories). Arnoud

UPDATE: Basj, I did the Purge, it took me a while, because after re-installing WB (last version/installer from stardock website), I was not able to reach the stardock.com domain again (the same with the wincustomize.com domain, before the purge there was no problem with reaching these sites, and strangely enough I had to add both sites manually to the exceptions in my Antivirus software). So, concerning my problem, nothing changed, it is still exactly the same with the context
Okay, Ad 1.: Graphics driver NVIDIA GF GTX 1080 is running with the latest update installed Ad 3.: I did just that, please see my initial post... So, I already checked all services and startup items in clean boot mode (took quite some work), and none of them recreated the problem, only the WB service did. Ad 2. Hi Basj, WB version is 10.84 (..059 - Windows 10). It occurs with all WB blinds, in the screenshot I used for example Frosted Blue by Don (don5318), but as I said it happens with all skins. The only way to get rid of it, is to select the 'Default Theme' but as I understood it, this basically disables all WB skinnable items (so, that might be comparable by disabling the WB service.. ?). I understand what you are saying Basj, but it really all started with the report of a trojan by Malwarebytes when updating CursorFX via Object Desktop Manager like I wrote, a couple of months ago to (I believe) version 4.04. Hi all, A while ago (appr. 4 months) when updating CursorFX via Object Desktop Manager, my Malwarebytes (Premium) sais it detected a trojan via the port it got the update from, i.e. cdn.stardock.us (and I believe it was using port: 60).
