How about a critical hit system limited to certain units , or a special unit that fires and its weapon causes critical hits..like maybe The Kols beamweapon can cause critical hits Just an idea loosely tossed in

Is anyone interested in a newbies survival guide to online play? Aimed a Sp folk who want to go online and newbs online who are struggling. Those that fear ridicule for lack of skill or fear they will let down teammates. Im thinking of writing one which will take 15-20 hours , lots of screenshots and pictures to make easy to understand. The hope is to iron out the bad habits developed in Sp , and teach players the teamwork and risk evaluation concepts in Mp inorder to give them

Can I ask people.. those that are singleplayer peeps who want to go online , but are too scared to go online for fear of being humiliated in battle , or fear that they will let down teammates because they lack the skills etc. Do you guys want me to write a "noob-guide". I have planned it , with most of the guide focusing on Strategy/Risk/Positional concepts and Teamwork. These are the two areas that I observe newbies lack and most likely areas that they will let down teammates
.Not trolling, at all. Ignorers are much, much worse than the people they're ignoring.
lol?!... Many who plays online would like the ignore button. If someone is being racist/rude in ICO , or if im trying to read something in ICO but its getting drowned out by a prick whos spamming , then I want a button that can ignore that person . This has nothing to do with defying freedom of speech or the epitude of society. @ Arca . I agree with you on that. I thi

This is The Web map. ( the rogue gasgiant is fixed) Very very simple design , like all my maps. You can decide to go round clock-wise or anti-clockwise. You may end up face to face with your enemy , or on the opposite sides so you have to adapt. there are terran planets for contesting , with Gas giants that hold valuable neutral resources. Make sure to keep an eye out on how your teammates are

I have an idea for a Roleplay... We just get 4 players as TEC , and 4 players as Vasari. We make a map where TEC has the majority of planets and a hugh econ , but their army is really small. However the Vasari have gain a foothold and have a really hugh fleet. There is a time limit of 2 hours and the task of the Vasari is to capture one of the 4 players homeworlds. The TEC players task is to defend their galaxy at all costs especially their homeworld for atleast 2 hour

For Vasari its the overseer, for advent the subjugator and for the tec the command cruiser. With this i want to close the gap between light frigates and heavy cruisers.Detailed list of the new damage and armor types:https://www.sinsofasolarempire.homepage.t-online.de/Stats.pdf
Excellent damage ideas. Even if games were perfect. I mean every game you buy turns out to be something like Zelda64 in presentation ,there will still be PIRATES because pirates are cheapskates. So it doesnt matter if developers make the effort to role out the red carpet and serve the best food , because it wont stop pirates from pirating because the food still costs $50. A simple example... Galactic Civ 2 , great game, excellent presentation, support , runs smoothly , bug free , NO DRM
For the anti-pirating moralists, I see it as a two way street. While certainly there are some hardcore thieves, the industry is not exactly innocent in the loss of respect that helps fuel western piracy. I actually tend to view games more on the restaurant model as opposed to retail. In a restaurant, typically if the food sucks I don't pay. I'm not talking about just not liking it, I'm talking it was sent out burnt and looks like someone just threw the food on the plate. There isn't a har
they don't always seem to autocast even when on autocast. I've watched plenty of ships die right next to fully ready repair bays. Maybe they fixed it since I stopped playing, maybe not. (Just checking for news on 1.1)Ummmm, maybe your repair bays ran out of antimatter dude or got disabled.
Actually ive seen this happen myself. Ive retreated my capship to some repair bays and the button is "coloured" , anti-matter is full , the little auto-cast thing is there and
Any kind of failed attack can simply provide your enemy with experience.Yes, but in a game between two people, there's a difference between a player making a mistake and the game randomly throwing free kills someone's way. I know I'd be a little annoyed if I spent all that time researching a tier 8 ability only to have it randomly do more harm than good. This just sounds like more of a nuisance than a help to me. I wouldn't want my actions being determined by what the computer decides to d
