do I need to buy a 2nd copy to have a lan in my house or is it possible to play a lan with the one copy. Is it legal? The EULA permits you to install Sins on a second PC and play a 2-man LAN with one cd key. Whether or not that's somehow enforced I don't know (as far as having 3+ LAN on the same key), but legally speaking you're allowed a 2-pc lan for each unique key.Sounds like that addresses the rest of your post
Has anyone tried 3+ LAN with one cdkey?
Actually, it's commonly considered copyright violation to play XTA or BA or certain other mods without owning the original TA.
maybe , but I doubt anyone cares. My point really is that there have been rumors that you need files from the original TA inorder to play Spring but infact you dont need anything from TA to play Spring.

I have an idea and would like some honest feedback on it. And by honest , go nuts with criticism :P . Basically we create a Mod for Experts . I know people will wonder , if this idea was viable it would have aleady happened , but simply put ..we just need to kick start this idea to make it happen. As with all mods , the biggest hurdle is getting people to accept it as being widely used enough, that its worth having . Inorder for this to happen
This is silly but also, when noobs get crushed a few times, if they are smart they will learn from it and improve. I know I have learned the most about this game from being beaten to a pulp, paying attention, thinking about it then changing my tactics. I'm sure it will happen again too.Sticking with overpowered teams doesn't sound like fun though, some competition between friends can be exciting too!
You dont learn anything by being crushed with noob allies. the problem a

I actually see where the OP is coming from. Now firstly I play online and in skilled games. Takes balls to go RA in skilled games as your compromising your early game and in skill games theres alot of early game assault and scouting, especially with homeworlds being with 4 jumps of each other. If one does get RA in a skill game then he deserves his overpowered spam for such a feat or the enemy deserves to die because he didnt bother to scout out the RA and attack when he has the opportu
I guess the PR about "working on older computers" was not entirely accurate.
The PR about "working on older computers" relates to how users with AthlonXPs ,Celerons and Pentium 4s can still play the game with lowgraphic settings and reduced effects.

Economy - Fast Ship Speed - Fast or Normal. Normal better if people have time Build Speed - Normal Culture - Fast Research - Fast this works really well on Foreign Invasion and other small maps. Also , consider some of the ffa 3 player maps as 1v1 maps , Centrifuge makes a very good 1v1 map. One Study Id like to do is to compare using a standard map like Foreign Invasion , Fulcrum or Maelstroem the time taken for game completion with Build Speed normal

Interesting post by Innociv. Lets say Ironclad introduce alot of changes so the expansion plays completely different to the original . This will create alot of division in opinions , some will like the expansion , some will prefer the original . Speaking just for the online community , this will indeed split the community but may also increase the overall total as it attracts newcomers. I have witnessed this first hand in Supcom. If its simply a case that this has to be done in

With regards to this match... HuntingX Drexion Astax vs [GE]Haeso [GE]Lament [GE]ThidProphecy So is Astax who is a member of the RaY clan and wore his RaY tag in that game...a member of eZ? How is this a GE vs eZ match then. Just wondering , because again you dont seem to understand that a clan match between two clans involves just the players from those two clans. :NOTSURE:
I have to totally agree with Rickder19 here. Not only do units but everything else stinks of WC3. I mean just look at the mouse controls - you click to select units and you click and drag to select multiple ones - where does Sins get off so blatantly ripping off Warcraft?! And don't even get me started on keyboard shortrcuts - F10 to call up the main menu - that's exactly the same as in every warcraft game! I understand copying a feature or two, I mean if something's done right then it'd

In Soase , games run twice if not three to four times longer then in conventional rts games. Of the 200 people online, more players will be tied up in a game compared to conventional rts games. In Sins..(where games are slower to complete) 200 online 20 players available to join games , 180 players in-game In EaW..(where games are faster to complete) 200 online 100 players available to join games , 100 players in-game Because theres less people availabl
