I'm really looking forward to this one, it's shaping up nicely! [e digicons]B)[/e]

You're welcome John! It was a fun making them [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
Congrats to everyone!
Thanks ID! Thanks guys! [e digicons][/e] I really love the Reflection II Xion skin. It's beautifully crafted and I just love the ability to change it's color!

Happy Birthday Wiz!!

The default clock is a skin. Right click on it, and choose 'Sysmetrix Configuration'. Once the window is open, make sure under the 'configuration options' you have the 'theme browser' selected. You should see on the right a list of available themes. Choose one and click 'load'. Edit: Actually, I'm not finding a SMX for Lethal Industry... You sure it's a SMX you downloaded?
Oh yeah, Harley, that's beautiful!!! [e digicons]B)[/e]
Looking at the buttons, I'd say lose the shadow on them (you cant really see it anyway) and decrease the distance you have between them by a couple pixels. What I did was make ita 1px gap on the left and a 2px gap on the right of the button in each frame. That solves the issue of the icon sitting right on the gold bar. When you put it in, set your painting margins to 10, 6, 14, 14 ... and your text margins to 11, 8, 0, 0. That centers the icons as much as possible. Your bu
For that start button issue: Go to the start button in SKS. Click the extras tab and check the box that says use Vista style positioning. Still looiking at the taskbar buttons....
I wouldn't mind looking at what ya got so far... it's so much easier to see what's going on first hand.
Have you tried to set the button to tile horizontally rather than stretch? You'll probably have to play with the painting margins a bit to get it to look right. Make it look right on the buttons with the text first, then change over to the icons only buttons and see what it looks like. Pinned buttons only show on mouseover and pressed, nothing you can do to change that. Edit: After looking at the screenshot more, I see what you mean...stretched vertically, n
Looks good. [e digicons]:)[/e] [wishful dreaming] If the left and right text margins worked on the taskbar buttons in SKS, it would make them so much easier to skin and be creative with them. [/wishful dreaming]
Yup. having the button off center in the frame is the problem. Just shift them over to the middle of each frame and you should be fine. I've never used the frame builder, so I have no clue what it does, but once you have the finished button in a .png strip, just open it in PS and move all the buttons over at the same time, that way you don't mess up the spacing.
I have too many damn versions of the buttons files as well
Not sure if you know this or not... If you have too many of them in SKS, all you need to do is 'clean the skin' and it will remove any images that are not being used and dump them in the back up folder. At the top of SKS : Tools/Clean Skin I do this several times during construction, just to make it easier to find what I'm actually using.
BTW, I really like the little notch you have in the arrows for the log off buttons. Any chance you could echo that in the rest of the arrows?
I saved the WB wrong
OK, you've piqued my curiosity... how do you save it wrong?
Nice looking blind [e digicons]B)[/e] The image loads a little slow for me too, but not a whole lot slower than any other on this site.
I think you may be looking for this: Edit Explorer & IE Shell Parts/Edit Vista & 7 Explorer Parts/Folders Bar. In the Extra Settings Tab you will see 'Background Color (Win7)'. Note: you must have an image in this section, even though you don't see the folders bar in Windows7, for this setting to work.
Yup, still lurking
Well, that took a lot less time than I thought it would.... [e digicons][/e] Gonna update it in the gallery now.
It's actually a fairly easy fix..... gimme a day, and I'll have it fixed for you. Send me a PM with your email address in it, and I'll send the updated one to you when it's done.
Yes, that would be nice to be able to do. [e digicons]k1[/e]
