I prefer the public but polite moderation as well. I think it is a better way to achieve the desired result; the community as a whole knowing the boundaries. Moderation via private message has not only the potential to leave users uninformed of the rules, but may also encourage 'vigilante' moderators taking the rules into their own hands and flaming. Object.LocalStorage and Gadget Creation in DesktopX WinCustomize Forums

I recently tried to export a widget, which uses Object.LocalStorage() to save a couple settings between executions, as a gadget. I found that the gadget did not save the settings between executions, although the widget works fine. Is Object.LocalStorage() supposed to work with gadgets, and does not, or is this intended? I am not a subscriber but am a current customer. About the current incentives for subscribing: I haven't had a chance to try the Premium Browser, but I doubt I would want to use a separate program just for one site. I admit waching the race between my own Tribal Widow and triByte_Digital_Img's Dark Canyon very closely. But it appears I had my eye on the wrong competitor. It does seem that very little can be done about changing the Z-Order via script. In my case I am trying to export an object as a widget, and it just won't retain the "Always On Top" that I define in the object properties Relation pane. Even if it is set to "Always On Top" there, the widget defaults to "Normal" on first load. Hmm. Are you defining the images in the DXPlayer Configuration dialog? When you select something like a fader or slider that takes images, the Images button becomes active, and you can define them there. Background should be long and skinny, slider shortish and squat, but use images that share a same dimension along the short axis for best result. Also, try BMPs, as I think that's what DXPlayer prefers. I got PNGs to work, but no transparency.<br/

I was thinking the other day how cool it would be to have an Audio Note Taker / Dictation widget like DesignCaddy mentioned. I don't know what I'm doing, but that would be a fun thing to work on.
